But ... but ... there is no shame anymore.  When that particular constraint is removed from both sides of the equation, Lia is a potential (if not to be expected) outcome.

The parallels between this case and the Kyle Rittenhouse shootings? Lia (I'm pretty sure) knew the attention s/he was gonna draw. Kyle (I'm pretty sure) knew he was going to kill some folks. And, (I'm pretty sure) both were free from the constraint of shame.  They did it.  They got away with it. Everyone can see the wrong in it ... doesn't matter what your base-beliefs happen to be ... (wrong is apparent). Because they 'got away with it' they've set examples for others.
