One of the differences between America and the CCP is that America was founded on the idea of "the subversion of State power" in favor of empowering the individual citizen instead. That is why so many flocked to these shores to form this nation. What we are seeing right now, before our very eyes, is the attempt of the State to reverse that, and seize power away from those empowered citizens to hoard all power for itself, as is done in China by the CCP.

That was the reason for the "Patriot Act" during the reign of King George Bush II. With that "Patriot Act", they can declare damned near anything, including sneezing wrong, as a "national security" issue with no legal recourse. We have not yet seen the full powers that alleged law gives to government. Well, in reality the powers that government has attempted to seize from the People by passing such a draconian measure in the first place.

You are correct, the US is trying to follow the CCP  blueprint. it's just a matter of time before we see whether the People are going to allow that to happen or not.
