i was lucky, i avoided it. was not likeing the idea of taking it but it was gonna be for my mother and she's not gonna have to now so i won't need to either.

Same here, but mom caught it, so she's good to go now. If she hadn't, I was just going to avoid her just like the rest of humanity to prevent the possibility of passing it to her.

Her symptoms, at 82 years old, just involved a loss of appetite, nausea if she ate anyhow, lethargy and a low grade fever for a couple of days. It seems not to be the massive bear it has been made out to be. I'd about rather catch it than the common cold after her experience of it, and much more so than the seasonal flu, which in past seasons, before it disappeared entirely to give way to covid, was much more severe than what she caught.

Who knew COVID-19 would turn out to be the cure for the flu?

.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’
