To paraphrase from the novel "Shubumi" - the true danger comes neither from the Right nor the Left it comes from the Center... because when a governing body or an economy become too centralized, when too much control comes from a single location, we all lose and are led around by the balls.
The Right is no worse than the Left for corruption, and vice versa - but as long as "they" can keep us thinking that way, no one is noticing the centralized control mechanism that both of them are promoting and building, to the detriment of the entire citizenry outside of their club.
