As they say… follow the money.
So much is said of the left this and the Democrats that by those who somehow seem to think that their shit don’t stink but all you redpilled conservatives need to sit the eff down for a moment and realize that your “team” is equally if not more vile, devious, corrupt, treacherous and sold out to the highest bidder as any has ever been.
You want conspiracy and collusion? A peek behind the curtain to see what is really going on? Want to know who the real authoritarian tyrannical Fascists are that will stoop to the lowest levels of connivery and machination for power and control? Look no farther than the illustrious Grand Old Party and their last ditch desperate attempts to remain relevant and in power.
Step beyond bias confirming propaganda and blindly drinking the Kool-Aid of your ideology and take the time to watch this video and tell me you are not disgusted that back room deals and dirty tricks have taken over all aspects of American politics that have long since not been by and for the people who have been drowned out by corporate interests, greedy powermongers and the wealthy agenda driven elites.
The man at the head of this cabal or more accurately, the sad orange puppet who’s strings are being played like a fiddle by his party handlers as much as any fake reality TV actor can be has done nothing but sow the seeds and fan the flames of division and unrest in this country to further his own political narcissist ego driven goals regardless of the cost to regular folks like you and I and this needs to stop now before it is too late.
The political scene in this country has turned into a complete and utter shitshow and as a proud and patriotic American, I am embarrassed to see what our reputation has become on the world stage in the last four years. As someone also part of a vulnerable minority that has been particularly and relentlessly attacked by the conservative and evangelical right as easy prey in direct retribution for losing Obergefell v. Hodges, in many ways it feels like I’m voting like my life and future depends on it and not for just myself because I’m old but for the future and lives of those of my kind and of others in the alphabet family that the so called Grand Old Party would prefer to erase from society.
Spare me your comments about my comments. I’ve navigated conservative online spaces for 14 years and know all your lines and comebacks as they are predictable and rote since critical thinking has become a lost art but watch the video and see if it doesn’t turn your stomach how bought and sold our government has become by special interests, nefarious actors and those desperate for power and control.
The issue shouldn’t be what side you are on because that makes losers of all of us but clearly, the ones encouraging and fostering this side-ism and polarization with dogwhistles to the extremist right are the biggest threat to our way of life I’ve ever seen in all my considerable years on the planet and I’ve seen a lot.
