There is a solar physicist in London named Zharkova who says the minimum has started this year.
I assume she knows what she's talking about. But I think the sun is now sunspot-free if I understand correctly. The minimum is supposed to last 25 to 30 years or so.
Personally I have no idea. But I guess we'll find out.
