The Privilege they erased from History
#21
So, yeah, I am privileged.

I grew up in a mother father home like a majority of Americans from the mid 60's on. We went to church, but not my dad. I left the church in my early teens for my own reasons. I found religion in the wonders of the universe and in nature.

Most of my family did what they had to do to survive and always pushed the younger generation to do better than they did. Some did better than others, some chose to be lazy instead of becoming independent .

We were pushed to make our ancestors proud of us. We were pushed to do better.

Most of what I have accomplished is from my upbringing. A strong work ethic , a strong moral ethic and a little common sense on how the world works.

What happens to me happens for a reason, and no one owes me anything .

Back in the beginning, back when we discovered fire, if you didn't contribute to the tribe, you got left behind.

So, yeah, I am privileged because I earned it.
