Perhaps my English is not the best, but does any one else find part of the below text "strange"
Quote:Veteran Infowars reporter and producer Rob Dew is the latest victim of Twitter’s war on free speech.
Dew’s Twitter account was suspended Thursday over a comment he made to former CIA Director John Brennan and another tweet telling a user to “Learn to Code.”
This is yet another example of anti-conservative censorship by the platform that has already permanently banned Alex Jones and several others.
The first Tweet Dew was suspended for was directed at former CIA Director John Brennan who told President Trump, “Your cabal of unprincipled, unethical, dishonest, and sycophantic cronies is being methodically brought to justice…”
Dew replied, “John please close your pussy, it’s flapping in the wind again,” and was notified by Twitter that the message violated rules against abusive behavior.
“This was a joke, pussy is short for puss which is another name for a mouth. So I’m literally saying close your mouth it’s flapping in the wind. If the former director of the CIA is feeling threatened by my tweet he should #LearnToCode,” Dew responded.

Ah,,, I don't know.
When translated into Mandarin Chinese it made No sense at all
But my English skills was only confused by the use of the word Pussy, OK, not a Kittie Cat, but my husband said slang for a ladies private area.
Never heard of the Mouth being called a Pussy. But maybe he meant to sat a Moth, a flying insect.
More of an editing problem I think.

I've never heard of -or seen on the internet, the word 'pussy' being used in any other context than a defamatory
word for a weak-willed person or a female's genitals.
I would suggest Rob Dew was indicating John Brennan's mouth is that part of a woman's anatomy, but Dictionary.com
does offer this:
1. a cat.
2. a girl or woman: often used as a form of affectionate address.
3. a hare.
puss2
noun Slang.
1. face:
She smacked him in the puss.
2. mouth:
Shut your puss before I shut it for you.
Origin of puss2
First recorded in 1880–85, puss is from the Irish word pus lip, mouth.

"Shut yer puss" is in reasonably common use in Scotland.
I've seen it used quite often as a jokey derogatory comment, especially if you add in a neighbouring town (that you don't like) for example in Montrose Scotland, the neighbouring town is called Brechin, so they say (as a joke):
"Aw, Shut yer Brechin Puss!"
BUT
How can a word like "pussy" that is longer than the word "puss" be "short for it"????
So, YES I do recognise the word "puss" as mouth, but NOT "pussy" as a short form of "puss" that makes no sense to me.

He's backpedaling.
"Pussy" can be a cat, female genitalia, or a weak willed, wimpish person. In America, where this twitter-thingy by Rob Dew originated, "puss" can be a face, but I've never heard it used here as specific to the mouth. "shut yer puss" and "shut yer face" are equivalent Americanisms. "pussy" and "puss" are equivalent only as regards felines.
"Pussy", being longer than "puss", cannot in any way be thought of as "short for puss", so he's backpedaling, trying to make up a lame story to account for deeds done and words said.
With that said, Brennan's pussy WAS flappin' in the breeze, so it's accurate. Read my jacket and stay the fuck away, John - it's only words, y'know? Mere words are protected in America by the First Amendment, as they are free expressions of thought, a right guaranteed. Twitter, on the other hand, is a private corporation, and therefore not bound by an agreement between individuals and the government, and so is perfectly within it's own rights to run it's shop as it sees fit to do.
My conclusion is "piss on Twitter and the tank it rode in on". If it censors you, bail out and migrate to a more user-friendly platform. After a bit, Twitter will go the way of the dinosaur if it does not provide service at a level expected by customers. I have a Twitter account, used it a couple of times, and found it entirely substandard and so quit using it - I can't even recall my password to that account any more, and have no real desire to, anyhow. It's as useless as tits on a crowbar...
... much like John Brennan.
