Even if the rest of the planet were open to such news, I think the Inner Earthlings would still have tall hurdles to clear in the Middle East.
They (the Inner Earthlings) would be evidence of demons or djinn or boogeymen to the devoutly religious.

How would you like to be a total ass-hat to the rest of humanity...because of a religious doctrine/dogma...only to be proven wrong?  Most will not admit they are wrong until required to do so...by force.
