Banners Like There's No Tomorrow!
Boy In A Dress accompanied my wife and myself to take her car to a local
garage for it's annual vehicle service and by making the rookie mistake of taking
my eyes off him for a moment, he went about rendering his craziness across
the busy mechanic's workplace.

The car was fine -by the way, but when BIAD balanced on one hand above
the young kid under the Auto-Lift, I didn't have the heart to tell the young
apprentice where the Man-Girl had inserted the 3/8" Deep Drive socket bar
that he'd taken from the lad's tool-box.

Boy In A Dress spent the day sitting over our land-line telephone dealing
with a rash of nuisance calls we've been getting recently.

The foul language from BIAD was alarming and some of it I think was made-up.
On the plus-side, the phone hasn't rang for a few hours now.

Here's his Facebook art.

An easy Thursday with little to do but take out the trash.
Boy In A Dress chased butterflies and I murmured a small prayer for his sanity.

He probably left in the shed.

The weekend nears and looking out of my window, I see that so does Boy In A Dress...
with his Friday Facebook art.

He's been making twine with a toughened grass again, so I suppose his damaged kite
is almost ready to smash into someone again.

Crazy sod.

As people around the neighbourhood enjoy a late afternoon barbecue and chat
about the week that's passed, Boy In A Dress and his gang of 'unusuals' wander
by on their way to the Discotheque.

BIAD's chum named Vincent is an odd-sort with his ability to look like he's walking
slightly off the regular surface, but I guess he's watched enough Michael Jackson
videos that he's now got it down to pat.

They're a weird bunch.

Here's the Man-Girl's banners.

Yesterday was a day of rest for Boy In A Dress and considering he spent most of Sunday
around the bouffant-haired divorcee's house, I'll be surprised if he succeeded.

I just kept pruning and mowing, mowing and pruning and enjoyed a quietness rarely
experienced unless BIAD is not around. Yet, he turned up for evening dinner with a
big grin on his face and I'll guess his own style of gardening was a winner.

Here's the Cheshire Cat's Facebook art.

After chasing eleven magpies away from a nesting blackbird in our garden,
Boy In A Dress regaled me with his assumption that he was living  in a smaller
version of Jurassic Park and currently battling some type of upgraded
velociraptors.

I could see the similarities, but still advised him to stop sniffing from the old tin
of plant food I'd left in the shed.

Here's his banners.

These Wednesdays seem to whizz around and it found Boy In A Dress digging
hardened ground to rid the mother-in-law's garden of weeds.

Afterwards, I took him to a local store for a treat like an ice-lolly.
His assault on the un-watered must have took some toll because he caused an
elderly lady to look wide-eyed when BIAD commented that his wrist was aching
with all that pulling.

I was hesitant to relate that the same woman slipped the Man-Girl her telephone
number.

It was quite windy today and Boy In A Dress realised that the gusts would be
too much for his home-made kite to endure.

So he sat on his stoop looking at the scudding clouds and contemplating things
that only BIAD can deal with. Him and those on heavy medication, I suppose.

With Boy In A Dress not delivering artwork on Friday, it may be that his self-generated
guilt caused him to make Saturday's art with a bit of Rogue Nation website connection.

Leaving for his Disco bouts, he smiled with a look of someone forgiven.

Today was Father's Day and after smiling at a 'thank-you' card from my adult son,
I noticed someone else grinning and approaching from my shed. This person, this
self-installed lodger held some artwork, a large envelope and thoughts on how to
scrounge a morning cup of coffee.
Of course, it was Boy In A Dress.

The Man-Girl steadied himself and straightening a dress strap, he said "thank you
for being the nearest thing to a father to me..." and with reverence, handed over
the Father's Day card.

"...I look on you as my go-to guy, my anchor in the storm of this confusion" he added
and I breathed in deeply and held back my tears.

For a few moments, we looked at each other then the magic was broken.
"And my coffee?" BIAD said politely and I went to get his brew.

A warm one and Boy In A Dress cooled his (high)heels on the stoop of his shed.

I volunteered to get on my knees and do some weeding due to the weather
being conducive with making plants go crazy.

The reason for my self-sacrifice is because when BIAD is in the kneeling position
and reaches for a clump of just-out-of-reach unwanted foliage, there's a low moan
I hear from the surrounding neighbourhood.

Boy In A Dress told me that I'd not need to water the plants due to a shower he was
certain was coming later. I'm typing this and it's just stopped raining.

BIAD doesn't have access to a phone or the internet, so I guess him licking his finger
and poking it into the air, works!

I only hope it is his finger.

A cool overcast Wednesday with Boy In A Dress spending his morning at the
mother-in-law's and his afternoon at Mrs. Miggins' home.

Dropping his artwork off, he mentioned that if needed, he'll be at the bouffant
-haired divorcee's abode next-door.

BIAD cleaned the mum-in-law's garden and then sat around idly chatting with
Mrs. Miggins... so going by the old catchphrase 'work, rest and play', that means...

Apparently -and I was only told  this morning, Summer solstice is an official day of rest

A real sweltering Friday and Boy In A Dress and myself used the great day to
make a push on our hobby of topiary and keep the triffids at bay.

To reward the sweating Man-Girl, I've decided to take him to a visiting circus
this evening. Clowns and excreting animals... what can possibly go wrong?!

Well it shows how long it is since I'd been to a circus, there were no animals!

But myself, Boy In A Dress and others were treated to a few people doing gasp
-drawing things with high-wires, spouting flames and motorbikes in a cage.
I think we all enjoyed it.

BIAD spotted a cotton-candy maker and got into trouble for sticking his head
into the rotating drum of sugar. But with ample cleavage exposed, I noticed the
young lad waited a while before telling the Man-Girl off.

There was no artwork on Saturday because BIAD and I spent most of the day
wandering the countryside in the good weather. To say it was a learning experience
would be to underrate the time we had together.
He knows many strange things.

So here's his Sunday's art.
