It's an interesting lesson about early beliefs and superstitions.
Of-Course the Chinese are a very superstitious people even today, lucky numbers are very big.
All of our vehicles have personalized plates with lucky numbers, I won't make a major purchase unless it's a lucky number day, We were Married and a lucky number day.

Even the numbers on the face of a clock and what time you go to bed or get up can be lucky or unlucky  .
