The Dropa Stones
#6

The description I got was "they are like stone phonograph records, a flat platter with a hole in the middle and continuous spiral grooves from the hole to the outer edge, and the grooves have tiny characters like writing in them".

They seem to be linked to some cave paintings at Baian Kara Ula. Those paintings show a figure in what appears to be a space or diving suit with a helmet with two antennae - looks like Martin in "My Favorite Martian" - and what looks like a saucer shaped airship with a jet and smoke emerging from the center of the bottom side of it. The entire tableax reminds me of the cover of a 1950's science fiction novel what with the "My Favorite Martian" antenna and the rocket-powered flying saucer.

So far as I know, the hieroglyphics contained within the stone grooves have never been deciphered, although there have been a few spurious claims to have deciphered them.

.

True.

Yes they have been deciphered twice. But, what mainstream scientist were told did not fit their views of the world and the Dropa People.
