It was only a couple of weeks ago that Musk was dissed by Twitter, and there was chatter around here about how "wouldn't it be funny as hell if Musk just bought twitter and sorted their shit out?"
Then he set about doing just that very thing. That's some funny shit right there!
Funnier still is all the Marxists screaming about it. Dafuq did they think was gonna happen when they started punching above their weight class? I find no end of amusement in the endless lines of Lefties making statements like "free speech can only be free if it's heavily censored" - HuhWhat? That is right up there with Orwell's "War is peace" and "freedom is slavery", now ain't it? I think they call that "cognitive dissonance", and I further think it is recognized as a mental disorder when you can successfully believe two directly opposing things at the same time. Yet just in the posts copied into the OP, you can see that very conflicting set of thoughts at play.
The word "democracy" has been slowly getting redefined to mean "oligarchical totalitarianism" over time, it seems. At least that is the only meaning that can be assigned when leftists use it these days. How else can one rationalize the idea that Democracy must be "protected" from the great hordes of the unwashed... you know, the very people who are supposed to be running it instead of elitist technocrats? How is it in any way the original meaning of "democracy" when only elitists, and most of those unelected, get to make the decisions and have their say, and the rest of us get left entirely behind with no say at all?
Whatever anyone may think of Musk otherwise, he at least does appear to be a scrapper, and that an admirable quality. Just watching him make tyrannical heads explode is entertainment gold!
