Is this not exactly what happens when accountability is no longer held in high regard?
As I type the following, I am holding back the vomit reflex of, for the first time ever, excusing Boy Robin... This reminds me too much of the Don Rumsfeld press conferences dancing around WMDs in Iraq.

It's that exact same bullshit all over again. All because it is no longer acceptable to tar and feather someone... Or at the very least, slap someone with a glove and declare a duel.
