Who want to be a cop in that environment?! Reminds me of the movie Sicario.

That's exactly right, you'd have to be very brave, really believe in what your doing, or very stupid to be a cop in Mexico.
You couldn't ever tell whose on the take and telling the cartels, kidnappers, human traffickers who the good cops are and busted their people then wind up dead.
