I have an interest in previous civilizations.  Did they achieve orbit?  Did they progress to lunar landings or placing exploratory landers on other terrestrial planets?  Perhaps they could have if not for some cataclysmic event or other man made local destruction.

In saying that I think at least this current civilization has placed aspects of it's achievements that could not be denied in future millennia.

Good points. What that line of thought bring to my mind are all of the "anomalies" that have been found on the Moon, Mars, and other planetary bodies. Many folks attribute them to "aliens", but what if they are really relics of space exploration by earlier Earth civilizations?

Yeah.  Perhaps that old "Black Knight Satellite"  was a relic.  Like those stories about off Earth Anomalies.
