I have a friend, career military, who is putting in his retirement paperwork in the next month and a half or so. I do hope he manages to escape before he gets all woked up...
As each day passes, I thank God that I talked my own son out of joining the shit-show the military is becoming. Yeah, you read that right. I never thought those words would ever cross my yap, but there it is.
I think that if the US is to maintain a defensive capability, then it will probably have to come from private militias. That's dangerous as a cocked cannon, but it's all we have left at this point. Anyone who has the ability needs to stock up on "assault weapons", standard capacity magazines, and ammo. There is evil in the pipeline coming out of Feinstein's diseased mind, and it may get pushed through this time, given the toxic political environment encompassing DC like a black cloud. I read her ban bill last night, and found plenty many loopholes in it, but loopholes can often be worked in two directions.
Regardless of the loopholes, it can get pretty costly for them to try to take what we already have in our hands, locked and loaded.
And one lone Watchman on the Wall stands against it:
