A little review on who was involved since day one.
China, France, The United States, Canada, Netherlands, and Britain. A half dozen countries that I know of who would have a lot to answer for and would want to hide their involvement. There are probably a few more involved.
Out of this half dozen (or more) countries, which ones were pushing the limits of the bio-weapons treaty by increasing the pathogenicity of these viruses through gain of function studies, rather than decreasing it for safe use as a vaccine?
Like all M.A.D. tactics, you have to keep up with the Jones, your best defense is a good offense, and of course there is "one-up-manship", got to have the latest and greatest, most expensive cutting edge stuff.
I prefer to think that the Chinese People's Liberation Army would be one of the usual suspects in taking something like this too far and play fast and loose with it. At least in the U.S. there was enough concern about GOF studies to shut down labs and cut off funding for awhile, even though there were people who got around this by jobbing it out to China.
All this makes sense with regard to the extreme world wide reaction to this "novel" virus pandemic. They all have some dirt on their hands, they all know that this was designed to be a bio-weapon, and they all had expectations that it would work as advertised. Still, the blame for it's current form and that it escaped into the worldwide population falls squarely on China IMO.
This also helps to explain why the establishment (world wide) is denouncing the man made theories vs the natural origin theories by forcing retractions and apologies along with the propaganda, censorship and character assassination of scientists with an opposing view. The bat lady and others have been pushing the natural origin theory on maybes and could haves since before this issue was publicly brought up. These conjectures, AKA scientific double talk, by the natural origin crowd is taken as science gospel proof that can't be refuted, so all those who oppose, even their own, must be silenced and discredited.
