That's an incredible story, I'm happy to hear he made a recovery, I wish him and you the best.
When I was in high school, a girl got into a bad car accident. Her car was mangled and she was knocked unconscious but uninjured, probably got a concussion though.
She was as nice a person as you could ever hope to meet, very genuine. She had tears in her eyes as she was talking about how she regained consciousness as a man dressed all in black approached her car and told her not to worry, everything was going to be okay, but was nowhere to be seen a minute later when she got out of the car.
She seemed more shaken up about that than the accident itself.
