Interesting but BS. All communications( at that time ) with a space craft are impossible wile entering the earths atmosphere, sorry people but this story about a dieing Russian cosmonaut telling she is burning to death wile in reentry reported by the two Italian brothers have been discreaded a very long time ago.
I do point out than many of the radio reports given by the brothers are right on the button, but I believe they made this recording up in order to stay in the lime light.

I think you're correct, that would be very difficult to transmit if your antenna has burned off.
