It wouldn't hurt my feelings if he did quit. I think he's more of the problem than the solution.
In some of the latest Q posts, he/she/they said to watch for lots of people quitting or not seeking reelection. Q said they are leaving due to knowing the skeletons in their closet will be brought to light if they stay.
