I think you maybe right in some aspects.
I really don't believe in the Tower of Babel, but I do believe we were much more advanced than they think we were.
Sometimes there is more to these types of writings than we think. A story often rises up from a truth, it might get embellished over time, or described differently than we would today.. There was a time people thought Troy nothing but fable, as well. A fable that now that has been proven to be true.
One man's fable.. just might turn out to be very real indeed, you just never know.
