I've just realized that I can't speak English.

WTF did those say? The hell is a "fitty" - and why would one introduce milk into it?
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

I didn't know either until Daitengu just explained it.

Great Comical stuff though.

I think "fitty" is indeed fit & attractive.
BUT "Milk in First" is probably an innocent reference to tea/coffee making where some people make the sacrilegious mistake of actually putting the milk in BEFORE the hot water. In some places in the UK this is a hanging offense as the tea never reaches the correct temperature to "mask" properly and the coffee will not dissolve properly, leaving hideous little brown lumps floating in it.
Admitting to "putting the Milk in First" is by way of a test, to see if your suitor will still like you. In the case above... HELL NO!

All I gathered from the comparison between US and UK courting habits was that US girls appear to be "Easy" & Dumb as a Rock, and that UK guys are largely Feckless Arses.

vive la difference!
