The University of California sued the Trump administration - guohua - 09-08-2017

I think it is, Janet (Big Sister) Napolitano who is actually using the University for her own Goals.

Quote:UC sues the Trump administration for rescinding DACA protections for immigrant students
Quote:The University of California sued the Trump administration Friday for rescinding protections for immigrant students without legal status, saying it unconstitutionally violates their rights on “nothing more than unreasoned executive whim.”
Excuse Me,,,,,, But what rights do Non-Citizens have other than the right to a speedy trial?
You're going to tell me, Non-Citizens not even Green Card Holders Have Rights under our Constitution?
Quote:The lawsuit filed in the northern district of California is the first legal effort by a university to block the Trump administration's decision to end protection from deportation of nearly 800,000 young immigrants who were brought to the United States illegally before age 16, completed high school-level education and stayed out of trouble.

UC President Janet Napolitano, who was an architect of the program in 2012 as U.S. Homeland Security secretary, said the decision to sue the federal government was not taken lightly.

The 10-campus system educates about 4,000 students — with teachers, researchers and healthcare providers — who are in the country illegally.

“It is imperative, however, that we stand up for these vital members of the UC community,” Napolitano said in statement.
“They represent the best of who we are — hard working, resilient and motivated high achievers.

To arbitrarily and capriciously end the DACA program, which benefits our country as a whole, is not only unlawful, it is contrary to our national values and bad policy.

The 'Out-There' group want you to change your constitution because they cannot
or don't want to understand what it means.

It would pay the current administration to create a faux Constitution and leave
a large space at the bottom for the middle-class, Outrage-R-Us people to sign.
That way, their narcissistic needs will be quelled... that's until they want to show
everyone their genitals and skin colour.

It's just undeveloped minds thinking they can trick the system with the use of guilt.
They think it's new, because the world didn't exist before they were born.

A reply from a FB member:

Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4 of the US Constitution:

"The Congress shall have Power... To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization".
Citizenship by naturalization is a privilege to be given, qualified, or withheld as Congress may determine, an individual may claim it as a right only upon compliance with the terms Congress imposes.
Not the President.
Not the courts.
Not illegal aliens.
Not ethnic front groups.
Not political parties.
Not cities.
Not states.
Not mayors.
Not governors.
Congress.
Got it?
Obama FAILED to do ANY permanent immigration reform with a democrat controlled house and senate for two years. He then preceded to break federal law, and ignore the constitution. He overstepped executive authority.
Don't be mad a President Trump. He is simply restoring law and proper separation of powers.
Be mad at Obama.
Be mad at Bush.
Be mad at Clinton.
Be mad at the other Bush, and Reagan...
Get my point?

The shameful statistic that liberals don’t want you to know about DACA

When President Barack Obama signed Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) into law by executive order in 2012, it was intended to grant protected legal status to illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. before the age of 16, and either graduated from high school, or were enrolled in school or an educational program. If approved, the young adults would be issued Social Security numbers and two-year work permits.

Given that DACA essentially grants a path to amnesty, you can bet the program is rife with fraud.
According to reporting from LifeZette:

As many as half of the approximately 800,000 people who now have work permits under DACA may have lied on their applications to get approved, said Matt O’Brien, an attorney and until last year a manager in the investigative unit of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS).
“Based on what I had seen and what I discussed with my colleagues, the fraud rate is 40 to 50 percent. It’s possible that it was higher,” he told LifeZette this week.

USCIS employees did quick checks of DACA applications, he said, rather than thorough reviews, “in order to get the DACAs all racked and stacked quickly.” He said immigration officers often found evidence that someone had lied about his DACA qualifications, but that the office of the chief counsel at USCIS almost always dismissed a recommendation to deny an application.
“I would say 98 percent of the time they defaulted to approving them,” he said. The kind of fraud that was often flagged, he noted, involved lying about age.
That’s because one of the eligibility requirements is that a person had to have been present in the country and no more than 30 years old at the time the memo was issued.
Despite liberal fearmongering about Trump’s “cruelty” for deporting “children” because he opposes DACA, most DACA recipients are anything but (and that’s based on the self-reported figures of the beneficiaries themselves, which is likely understated). Roughly a quarter are above the age of 24, and 40 percent are aged 19-23. The average recipient is 25.

The Trump administration has already begun winding down DACA, but has given Congress a six month window to preserve it through legislation, if they wish. “The legislative branch, not the executive branch, writes these laws,” Trump said.
In that case, with statistics like these, it’s clear the rampant fraud needs to end.
