RE: The Blue Pill. - guohua - 06-25-2017 You guys missed a GREAT Opportunity, your Government could have sold ship Holds filled with water to California. You just might still be able to. They needed water really bad for years. RE: The Blue Pill. - BIAD - 06-28-2017 'Fake news': Trump tweets glee as three CNN journalists resign over Russia story. 'Trump derides network’s ‘phony’ stories after three quit over piece on supposed investigation into meeting between associate and Russian investor...' Wow! A frowning comment on the reaction of a victim of a trio of alleged Journalists -who resigned from their positions at a prominent news outlet due to a fabricated account that supported a narrative the same news outlet has been pushing before the election of that victim! It's almost as seeing a victim walk from court with a smile at justice being done...! and we can't have that when dealing with a wealthy heterosexual white man, can we? If we disregard the moral and ethical aspirations that professional Journalism is supposed to adhere to and ignore the thin-line these three people were walking by bringing the company they worked for into disrepute, some of us may be left with nothing but the idea that these information-gatherers had nothing on their minds but dislike for the man in the red tie. Can this be possible...? Could it be that these 'Reporters' acted in the same manner as a couple of spoilt, middle-class keyboard warriors?!! When trolling a person on the internet, evidence to make the victim feel bad isn't needed, it's the implication of guilt by the use of confident wording and as I wrote elsewhere in a thread, many tend to believe the written word. '...CNN on Monday accepted the resignations of three journalists involved in a story about a supposed investigation into a pre-inaugural meeting between an associate of Donald Trump and the head of a Russian investment fund. On Tuesday, around 6.30am ET, Trump tweeted in response: “Wow, CNN had to retract big story on ‘Russia,’ with 3 employees forced to resign. What about all the other phony stories they do? FAKE NEWS!”...' Ah, it's the glee that President Trump is showing that's the problem here, the chuckling of being correct that a type of 'Witch-hunt' was being played out to anyone who can read, have access to a television or the internet. I was wrong, President Trump isn't the victim... these poor souls who write falsehoods are the persecuted ones. I get it now. '...The president then retweeted a tweet from a “clickbaiter & #FakeNews debunker”, featuring the CNN logo altered to read “FNN: Fake News Network”. Later, using “stories” in the plural without citing additional examples, he added: “Fake News CNN is looking at big management changes now that they got caught falsely pushing their phony Russian stories. Ratings way down!”...' Why the scoundrel!! President Trump didn't cite examples...? didn't offer proof to his accusations and used poor grammar?! I'm sure that if this Hotel-owner had set his pussy-grabbing hand at being a Journalist, a News Editor glancing at his copy would point out his failings in structuring correct sentences and just like CNN, ignored the fact that the story was actually false. '...The president then broadened his attack: “So they caught Fake News CNN cold, but what about NBC, CBS & ABC? What about the failing @nytimes & @washingtonpost? They are all Fake News!” The CNN story in question was posted on the network’s website on Thursday and was removed, with all links disabled, on Friday night. CNN immediately apologised to Anthony Scaramucci, the Trump transition team member who was reported to be involved in the meeting. Following the retraction Scaramucci, tweeted that CNN “did the right thing. Classy move. Apology accepted. Everyone makes mistakes. Moving on.” Shortly after that the president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, tweeted: “Hahahahaha, CNN has standards?? More #fakenews defaming my friend @Scaramucci.”..' I suppose one would expect a loftier response from the thirty-nine year-old son of the President. I mean, the story was accidentally researched, written, fact-checked, edited, checked again and then printed and prepared for broadcast. How could Trump Jr. not see how there was no intent or malice?! '...In taking down the story, CNN said it did not meet its editorial standards. The episode is a damaging blow for a network that Trump has frequently derided as “fake news” . The story never made it on to any of CNN’s television networks...' I'd like to know when this article falsely accusing their President of espionage and knowingly endangering the nation of the United States by colluding with an imaginary enemy (the US isn't at war with Russia!)... when it came into the area of not meeting 'editorial standards'! Maybe when the three Journalists explained they had no evidence for their claims...? Maybe Editor...? Just askin' '...The author, Thomas Frank, was among those who resigned, according to a network executive who requested anonymity because the person was not authorised to discuss personnel issues. Also losing their jobs were Eric Lichtblau, an assistant managing editor in CNN’s Washington bureau, and Lex Harris, head of the investigations unit...' Are we calling the 'network-executive-who-requested-anonymity' an 'unnamed source' again?! '...The story was quickly questioned both internally and externally, including by the conservative site Breitbart News. It was determined that the story was posted without going through the expected checks and balances for one of such sensitivity, the executive said...' You mean it was either slipped through unnoticed, was posted because the checks and balances don't exist or the people assigned to analyse the product of this mature occupation were in the bar by the time it was ready. '...The failure to follow proper procedures is what led to the resignations, the CNN executive said. It’s not immediately clear what in the story is factually incorrect, or whether CNN would continue to report on the issue...' Well, whatever the section in the report was that held doubts, it was prominent enough to warrant three resignations. So, I'd guess it'll be easy to find... if one has the Journalists' notes, verified sources and witness-agreed statements that generated the need to write the article. Anthony Scaramucci. '...The retracted story had said the Senate intelligence committee was looking into a 16 January discussion between Scaramucci and Kirill Dmitriev, whose Russian Direct Investment Fund guides investments by US entities in Russia. Scaramucci, in the story, said he exchanged pleasantries in a restaurant with Dmitriev. The report also said that two Democratic senators wanted to know whether Scaramucci had indicated in the meeting whether sanctions against Russia would be lifted, a decision that could impact the investment fund...' SOURCE: Whatever the dubious part of CNN's story must lie within this area of the article, but the illustrious outlet seem unwilling to indicate which part. Surely, the three men will have shown their superiors their group-gathered evidence and in doing so, saved their jobs? Surely. (By the way, this article has plenty of debatable errors in it in regards of grammar!) RE: The Blue Pill. - Daitengu - 06-28-2017 They should arrest the bastards ..... charge em with sedition .... treason .... take em out an execute em .... then shut down commie news network an burn it to the ground ..... RE: The Blue Pill. - BIAD - 07-04-2017 Grenfell fire: MP calls for inquiry chairman to quit. 'The judge heading the Grenfell Tower inquiry has been urged to stand down by the MP for Kensington, who says those affected need "somebody we can trust". It follows a call on Monday for Sir Martin Moore-Bick to quit by lawyers representing some of the victims. Labour MP Emma Dent Coad said Sir Martin was "a technocrat" who lacked "credibility" with the families. Retired Court of Appeal judge Sir Martin has said he understands the "desire of local people for justice". The call comes as questions are raised over the efforts being made to rehouse those left homeless by the fire on 14 June. At least 80 people are thought to have died in the Grenfell Tower fire in North Kensington, west London. The final toll may not be known until the end of the year, say police...' SOURCE: ................................ Another tale of obfuscation to delay the inevitable truth. In my opinion and I mean no disrespect to those injured and dead, I think that this whole rat's nest should be dragged out into the light and shown for what it really is. The authorities set with investigating this tragedy don't know who were living in the Grenfell Tower, they don't know who were visiting during the blaze, they're not entirely sure who the landlords are who were letting the apartments out and there's still the problem of how many of the effected were illegal immigrants. Some may inquire how can this be...? How can a system that registers, controls and funds a large section of society not know who the occupants and visitors were? Social housing is paid for through Government -approved grants to local Councils and it's not just handed out like confetti, there has to be information of who it was for. Welfare payments, unused monies in bank accounts designed to accepted Benefit payments, there's a well-entrenched system that can show an absence of activity. Employment information... if someone isn't turning up to their job, why? It's not like any missing employee won't be 'on-the-books'... will it? Property Owners: In the majority of cases, landlords pay a fee to the letting-agents for administration, appropriate tenants and maintenance. The names of who live those accommodations will surely be registered there. Maybe the property owner dealt directly with the tenant. Even if it may seem heartless, surely the loss of income would prompt the landlord to come forward and offer information regarding who he was housing? Without seeming callous, there's been reports of sub-letting and sub-sub-letting and in this regard, knowledge of who, how many and why people were living there gets into very murky waters. Great Britain is wired up with that much surveillance that it's often sarcastically commented on all around the world and it doesn't just involve cameras. Free movement from mainland Europe is monitored by both sides and because of the current terrorist threats, will be ramped-up even more than usual. Where's the lists? Friends and loved-ones not visiting Grenfell Towers must be aware that anyone they deem close may not have contacted them and by contacting Police with this information, people can be ruled in or out. I would suggest that considering the manner that the mainstream media are painting this perception, it would be easy for any outlet to ask viewers and readers to check Twitter and Facebook for any change or absence in their online relationships. But they don't, just like many other times when control is questioned, they gang together to create a soft, nicey-nicey, heart-warming narrative. Blue Pill-takers like that. Instead of real, mature questions and investigative journalism, we get tales of Jeremy Corbyn banging-on about requisitioning nearby private properties that are seen as land-banking for use to house the survivors of the fire. Considering his leanings, this would be standard for Comrade Corbyn. Reports play one politician off with another where the Prime Minister -Theresa May, is reported as not visiting the streets around Grenfell in a manner that implies she's too 'posh' or it's beneath the Tories to do so. We get plenty of these stupid newspaper debates about who in the political world is-or-isn't doing enough fawning around the effected and the usual images of tributes with the backdrop of a blackened stucture only add to the false, dispassionate narrative. All in an attempt to deflect from the real questions that need asking. Structures like Grenfell were built because it's a cheap way to house the 'unwashed' of society... that's the sad truth. It has nothing to do with race, gender or religion, it's to do with social class. Who occupied those apartments (called flats in the UK) when they were first built...? The unemployed and those who left rural communites destroyed by the closing down of industries for overseas political reasons. The forgotten old and some from post-Empire days can also be added to the list. For many years now, a cheap source of labour as come from overseas and when one includes the terrible media-endorsed political correctness-stigma, it means that even legally, certain occupations are taken up by newcomers who see half-a-wage in Britain, better than what they left behind. Those who decide to arrive on our shores by criminal means, already know they have no legal platform to argue their case and use the race-card if possible, but will settle for what they can get. Make no mistake, Government agencies know about this cultural paradigm and understand that it benefits many aspects of the country. There's no need to worry about Union disputes among this class, they prefer to not get into waters where the whole scene would be exposed. Also for the employer, there's no longer the burden of paying taxes, national insurance, possible pension contributions, liabilities insurance and an obvious one, holiday pay. All against the law of course, but when you've signed up to an official Europe-wide agreement that demands you allow thousands upon thousands of people into your country, sometimes the system can 'accidentally' let things slide. And don't think we're just talking about manual workers here, the City Of London can boast it's fair-share of well-dressed executives that enjoy a free-ride due to the assisting policies put in place by the non-elected bureaucrats in Brussels. Except you won't find them living in Grenfell Towers. It also alleviates the concerns of indigenous working-class residents of Great Britain because we've had three generations already, that perceive employment in a different light than their great-grandparents. With benefit-payments from the Governement, not working is no longer seen as taboo. For those who are seen as minorities due to culture, ethnicity or religious beliefs, the same monies and living accommodation are available too. Just Like Dick Whittington perceived it and for some, London is really paved with gold. Some might ask that if this low-income society is so bad, how do they endure it? Don't kid yourself, drug-dealing is big in many of our cities and when it comes to London, why are there so many stabbing crimes?! In my view, our Capitol is lost to this behavior, but of course... it only benefits the wealthy. It's been said that the people of Grenfell want the truth, to commit to such a rare, noble act will take both sides of those involved. Now... do you really want to go down that particular rat-hole? RE: The Blue Pill. - BIAD - 07-07-2017 Tut-tut, you should really appreciate the temperature of ideologies in a country and think seriously about what you broadcast. Unless... you did. Sheffield-based radio station Iman FM suspended over 'terror talks' 'A community radio station has been taken off air for broadcasting more than 25 hours of lectures by an alleged al-Qaeda leader. Sheffield-based Iman FM had its licence suspended by Ofcom for playing the lectures by radical American Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki. The regulator said parts of the material was "likely to encourage or incite crime or lead to disorder". Iman FM told Ofcom it was not aware of Awlaki's background. In 2011 the United Nations Security Council described Awlaki as a "leader, recruiter and trainer for al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula". His sermons are thought to have inspired terrorist attacks including the attack on the Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris in 2015 in which 12 people died and the 2009 Fort Hood shootings, in which 13 US soldiers were killed. Awlaki was killed in a US drone strike in 2011. Ofcom said information about Awlaki's alleged terrorist links was "freely available". It launched an investigation of the station after a member of the public complained about the content of the lectures. The station said it had downloaded and broadcast Awlaki's lectures during Ramadan - 26 May to 24 June -despite not having listened to them in their entirety beforehand. It said it had listened to 12 hours of the audio, which it "judged to be within the parameters [of the Broadcasting Code]", but only samples of the remainder were checked. The licensee said it had not listened to all of the lectures because of time constraints, it being a small radio station and the broadcasts happening during Ramadan. It said that management had not picked up on the issue, not least because of the timing of the broadcasts when managers were "probably catching up on sleep". The station then broadcast a show on 23 June in which it condemned the lectures and apologised to listeners. In its ruling Ofcom said it considered the breaches of the Broadcasters Code to be "extremely serious". It said it planned to revoke Iman FM's licence and had given the station 21 days to respond. In a statement posted on its Facebook page, Iman FM said: "[It] has temporarily stopped broadcasting, this has resulted due to the regulator suspending its licence for the next 21 days, on the basis that unwittingly some controversial lectures were broadcast."...' RE: The Blue Pill. - BIAD - 08-24-2017 I see this every day and I often wonder how many out there don't realise that global narratives sometimes don't work in their initially-created form and have to be altered to get the message across. What might seem a great manipulative manner in one country, may not have the same effect in another where the population's dialectic leans towards a more religious or industrious setting. Like this one. It's not much, but the 'touchy-feely' emotional narrative is different because it's perceived by the writers that certain words and images will impact on it's readers differently and so, altered to-suit. Swearing or cursing may not have the same effect on different readers or the anger in the incident may not be appropriate in another country where the narrative is given as a more 'official authoritarian' stance. The idea of mourning can be seen to some as purely emotional and have no controlling aspects outside of it's social acceptance that we should not make waves during a solemn perception. And in some countries, a background appearance of serious governance far-outweighs any need to portray a situation as something is merely emotive. Ironically, the subject matter is the same in the articles, but how they're delivered is very different. It's like two people being human, but their external appearance aren't the same!! The Narratives: Quote:Two Confederate Statues in Charlottesville Covered in Black in Mourning for Heather Heyer.NBC News: The initial essence of the above article is that the statues were covered for the reason of a display of mourning and not to just shroud them from the presumed enraged citizens who don't like statues. Quote:Charlottesville covers Confederate statuesSky News: This article ignores the emotive connection of a black covering of the statues to the tragic death of Heather Heyer and concentrates on the 'white supremacy' angle. For myself, it's interesting -as it shows the differences of perceived 'freedom rights' The United States enjoys far greater freedom of speech than Europe, but to maintain these differences -or lack of 'sameness' the second article delivers more on the racial aspect than the emotional point offered in the first report. When it's said that the pen is mightier than the sword, sometimes where that pen was manufactured can have a bearing too!! RE: The Blue Pill. - BIAD - 08-24-2017 Psst... Do yer' wanna see how dumbed-down people are...? Seriously, do yer' wanna see the bullshit they gobble down everyday and call it 'truth'?! Here's James Clapper in a Guardian article (which sucks the Government big-one with the same enthusiasm on either side of the pond, in my view)... delivering his opinion on how the current President of the United States could be a liability when it comes to having access to nuclear missile codes. I know in my heart, this is just a biased 'filler' for the newspaper that hates white men and I know that -just like many click-baiting editorials, it will create a narrative and then deconstruct it further down it's paragraphs. But like many journalists, this type of low-brow, shake-the-war-branches, rhetoric never takes into consideration that by attaching a comment from a noted Government employee (or in Clapper's case, one of many that secretly listened in to the same citizens !)... The Guardian has unwittingly offered to those who refrain The Blue Pill that there's also a reality that negates the whole article! The image of Clapper at a podium -taken from an Australian National Press Club gig in June 2017, gives the impression that he's speaking to a crowd of people when he makes the comments about President Trump and the launch-codes. But in fact, The Guardian is taking an interview that Clapper had with CNN's Don Lemon on 23rd August of this year and giving the impression via the photograph that it's some-sort of 'announcement' Clapper stated Trump's access to missile codes is scary, I would suggest Edward Snowden's response to the question why he became a whistle-blower could also be characterised as scary too. “Sort of the breaking point was seeing the director of national intelligence, James Clapper, directly lie under oath to Congress. ... Seeing that really meant for me there was no going back.” In essence, the article implies the reader and Mr. Clapper haven't a clue to what really happens when such a dire situation arises.
