Shopping in Russia 3 months after sanctions

Interesting video supposedly showing the effects of the sanctions and war on the economy in Russia

No doubt sanctions will affect prices in Russia but I wonder if their prices were rising before this conflict broke out. Prices here in Scotland have been rising since before then and I see the same issue in the US where the current administration gets called out when it tries to blame Russia for the price hikes.

With all the container ships and their cargoes sitting and not being loaded or unloaded because of COVID why would one expect anything else.

He is pretty good and I follow him. He is by far one of the russians that appears to get the closest to toeing the line when discussing topics. The other russian youtubers I follow are russianplus who speaks perfect english with a southern draw. He actually went silent for months then showed back up but out of the contry. I also follow a few other from australia that moved to russia . I was hoping they would be more forward on the conflict but they are also fairly silent on the topic and very careful on what they say.

I'm not buying the Ukraine narrative or that zelensky is a modern day Rambo and it really concerns me that all the wrong people are backing the Ukraine such as the MSM , GOP, DNC, NATO, Hollywood, Tech Oligarch, etc.

Having said that I don't also buy into that Putin is a white night either.

What I find interesting is that the russian bloggers I had been following for years appear to actively avoid talking negatively about Putin, russia or the Ukraine conflict. They even take great measure to avoid the topic as much as possible. So its very clear that russia is not innocent in this or the savior that some are hoping for.

I'm not sure what the truth is since there is so much propaganda and bs from both sides especially the ukraine side , but one thing is for certain is that neither putin or the western establishment are looking for our interest or the world best interest.

these are russian youtubers I had been following before the ukraine conflict:
