WW2 and the fighting Lady
#1
There was a time when I regretted missing WW2 and flying certain aircraft. Call it testosterone overload which unfortunately many young men suffer from which make them do things when older they just can't believe they did that ! I did get to fly some air to air using lasers that would make your opponent smoke when hit.. No death no blood.. Otherwise most of my time was spent getting shot at unless I was flying a Night Hawk mission and could bring some serious hurt upon an enemies head.

I flew into all the Marianas Islands that had a strip long enough for me to stop with a 150,000 pound aircraft and I was always awed by the history below my feet and water.

My firm belief is there are no glorious wars only wars that need to be fought.... true heroes that can kill the enemy without remorse... The remorse seems to come later for some who let hate take over their thinking..Others realize it was just something that needed to be done and if not them then who....
