Stratigic Forum Hopping in 2021
#1
With the endless censoring and shut down efforts now being launched against online public discourse (I need not elaborate) I have been on the look out for chat boards and forums that have remained out of view of the cancel culture crowd.

I began with Tapatalk boards, where I have a forum of my own, and have found some pretty good forums there and the app is actually really good compared to some of the other boards I found.

Of course RN3 is pretty active with some quality members, but Hernando's Hideaway on ProBoards was hopping with Above Top Secret Ex-pats for a long time and has since has become a ghost town. I look at RN3 as being like that, a boom town at the moment, but for how long?

So, I've been searching for any forums I might have an interest in. When I searched ProBoards, every forum I had an interest in was inactive for two or more years. Some have never had activity or were spammed with advertising posts.

Now, it seems a shame to let those abandoned boards go to waste, esp. when you could engage in unsanctioned communications on forbidden topics. This would put the consequences of such subversion on the absent administrator as long as those who commandeered it were careful about being traced.

These boards will either clamp down or get the "hammer", but you could go from one abandoned forum to another forever it seems. I have no doubt that real terrorist groups (not the "Trumped" up ones) use this technique all the time. It's just another method to network under the radar, at least while you still can. It might be all we have until there is nothing left, which seems pretty soon.

GAB.com is where I've landed, only because it's where the people I follow for news have moved.  GAB owns it's own servers, so it can't be taken down like Parler was.
GAB is going through some growing pains at the moment because all the people getting kicked off, or leaving Twitter on their own, are all heading there. Millions and millions everyday are trying to sign up. They are adding more servers as we speak to handle the extra traffic. I think it will be bigger than Twitter someday because they actually allow free speech.

RN3 is where I come to spend time with my friends and discuss topics. I trust that RN3 will be around for a long time to come.

It'd be nice to see you post more here for awhile.  It's active content that makes the boards.  On RN3 you can @"beez" a member and voilà they come take a look at what's going on.
'Cause if they catch you in the back seat trying to pick her locks
They're gonna send you back to Mother in a cardboard box
You better run!

How long will RN3 be free, way tooooooo much truth here.

While RN3 is my new home, occasionally it's healthy to go outdoors once in a while. A site I find promising is https://mewe.com/  It seems to be in it's infancy but poised to grow dramatically. Much like RN3 in many ways, also with no info sales or any way to trace as far as T&C led me to believe...... T&C is lengthy, wise to read and you will go away with a smile. As I say, here is home with the best of folks, also very astute and in command of the English language despite being members of foreign countries. We come here for a Reason, and that is for 'Reason'.

Let me put it to you like this,,,, R-N3 is going to stay R-N3 and Never Will become a Pay To Play Site.

All of your Admins and Super-Mods as well as Myself know all to well about H H and what took place there so many years ago.

R-N3 is a site for those that feel left-out and ignored. Everyone has a Voice Here at R-N3.
You should never find Spam or Advertising Post here, we all work very hard to Delete and Ban Spammers, there will never be a need to use a Blocker on our site, we don't have Ads.

We all wish that our members will use our site to express themselves anyway they know how.

I should make it clear that I mean no disrespect to R-N3, I have no clue about it's history, it was suggested I join when rumors started about ATS's uncertain future.

It has to admitted that the future of free thinking boards is as stake, so I'm naturally concerned about the future of R-N3. I like it here far more than FB or other popular platforms and it is plenty active. So with the reply by Guohua, I will rest assured it will remain this way. In fact I hope the membership goes up here, without drawing too much attention though.

Back to topic, the idea that abandoned chat boards and forums can be utilized to continue to engage in the free speech that is becoming sedition. Though the use of a burner smart phone, paid in cash, or possibly a VPN, groups could use a dead board to communicate freely and anonymously. The responsibility will fall on the administrator and the server, not the participants. You wouldn't want to start a forum and have it trace back to you, so put it on the absent administrators backs.

Of course there must be dark web boards for this type of thing, but I'd bet they are scrutinized by the alphabet agencies.

I for one didn't take your post as disresepectful of RN3. I took it as a suggestion for a means of setting up electronic "dead drops" for communications that are becoming dangerous to utter in our Brave New World.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

It's not like I plan on ditching R-N3, I'm just bouncing around and seeing what might be left. I'll be posting here more.

I've mostly relied on these boards as a clearinghouse for alternative news and information as well as to read people's different view points on these subjects. I also will occasionally introduce topics that I feel are important or at the very least thought provoking.

I've made attempts at monitoring regional chat boards to catch any unreported news in those areas, but haven't found much outside of FB. I do better listening to AM talk radio at night. You can pick up conservative talk shows from all over the states, Canada and Mexico too, Amigo.

Cool, thanks. The term "dead drop" gives it an edge, like spy games and espionage.

From Wikipedia on dead drops . . .

Quote:A dead drop or dead letter box is a method of espionage tradecraft used to pass items or information between two individuals (e.g., a case officer and an agent, or two agents) using a secret location. By avoiding direct meetings, individuals can maintain operational security. This method stands in contrast to the live drop, so-called because two persons meet to exchange items or information . . .

While the dead drop method is useful in preventing the instantaneous capture of either an operative/handler pair or an entire espionage network, it is not without disadvantages. If one of the operatives is compromised, they may reveal the location and signal for that specific dead drop. Counterintelligence can then use the dead drop as a double agent for a variety of purposes, such as to feed misinformation to the enemy or to identify other operatives using it or ultimately to booby trap it.

I hop around alot too. I just lurk these days, trying to gleam information from as many places I can.

I visit here a couple of times a day. This place is warm and friendly and I like it here.

Aw man... I like it here. I'm glad for it.

As far as other sites, I did MeWe which is a cool alternative to FB. Way more relaxed, no adds. Signed up for Gab but they are having some technical difficulties at the moment. Hard to say if that will work out for me. Also Parlor but we know about that one.

Long story short, I use a number of sites to do the social media thing. Works out better that way.

Supply and demand and all that. Plenty of opportunity out there.

I put up a similar thread on ATS, almost word for word from here. I did a better presentation of the material using the dead drop angle and added a few things. After 8 or 9 flags and one reply, they shit canned it because it wasn't inline with "the spirit" of the T&Cs.

The private message said that is was nice thinking out of the box, but it had to go. Apparently they didn't approve of "cyber squatting" on abandoned boards, but personally I think they are scared of getting the big red hammer from our dear leaders of the USSA.

I think that canning the thread was an endorsement of the idea in a way and it also shows how ATS is self censoring, even beyond their T&Cs, to avoid getting shut down. Obviously not the best place anymore to express ideas that may get the negative attention of the cancel culture socialists in office. All the better reason to "cyber squat" on dead boards with absent moderators to continue with online free speech IMO.

ETA: Also a good reason to post here, no fear based censoring of unsanctioned topics.

Actually, now that I got censored by ATS because of "the spirit" of the rules, I'm more determined than ever to work on "Project Dead Drop".

Any ideas for using this plan as far as getting the word out, personal privacy, and keeping things as covert as possible, will be helpful.

Anything typed online is probably read regardless of where it lands.

Good VPN based outside "EYES". Never use same mail, never use same name. Give no personal info, photos ect. Lots of other things but im sure you get the picture

Explanation: Correct! ... Here is why ...

Room 641A

Quote:Room 641A is a telecommunication interception facility operated by AT&T for the U.S. National Security Agency, as part of its warrantless surveillance program as authorized by the Patriot Act. The facility commenced operations in 2003 and its purpose was publicly revealed in 2006.

Personal Disclosure: I know and I am not afraid ... because I posted this after the Covid19 outbreak happened...

OL's Manifesto: I admit FULL responsibility for the Coronavirus Outbreak!

... and they did nothing!!! That is kinda a big tell that they are NOT doing their jobs properly and are being slack cunts! tinysure

I also posted this before the Covid19 outbreak happened ...

Its The Smell! I Love The Smell Of BioWarfare In The Morning! Deoderizing The Left!

... which should of been taken as a true poker tell and not a bluff as I caused over 1million deaths and $10TRILLION+ worth of damage world wide in a single year! tinysure

As for Strategic forum hoping in 2021 I suggest we go back to PAPER letters like the Russian KGB did recently.

I also recommend that IF we go back to paper, that we then use ...

One-Time Pad

Quote:In cryptography, the one-time pad (OTP) is an encryption technique that cannot be cracked, but requires the use of a one-time pre-shared key the same size as, or longer than, the message being sent. In this technique, a plaintext is paired with a random secret key (also referred to as a one-time pad). Then, each bit or character of the plaintext is encrypted by combining it with the corresponding bit or character from the pad using modular addition.
The resulting ciphertext will be impossible to decrypt or break if the following four conditions are met:[1][2]
  1. The key must be truly random.
  2. The key must be at least as long as the plaintext.
  3. The key must never be reused in whole or in part.
  4. The key must be kept completely secret.

I'm thinking they will eventually catch up with you if you are "cyber squatting" and using abandoned message boards as dead drops, no matter how hard you try to evade detection.

If you are engaging in serious sedition, real conspiracy plans for insurrection for example, it would have to be as secure as possible and restricted to a small group. Such a group would likely have a network outside of the internet that use techniques like physical drops with thumb drives. It is possible to create a secret WiFi LAN network (mesh-net) for the kind of ease of communication we have grown accustom to, but that could get infiltrated easy enough. The mesh-net idea reminds me of the "Person of Interest" series when Finch set up a private cell phone network with old roof top TV antennas.

For large scale group communications, you might as well set up and become the administrator of some chat rooms and message boards and then direct the information based on the level of risk it posed. You could redirect sensitive information into password protected areas for privacy and for the use of vetted members.

For highly secure communications, along with digital encryption, you can do some old school encryption. I've attached a PDF with a number ciphers, I esp. like the Vigenere Table. These techniques, esp in layers, are hard to beat without the keys. When you use these methods, you must eliminate any spaces between words and no punctuation marks (of course).

Another member gave me this yesterday. There seems to be a lot of coded messages and instructions going on. And it seems only those who are supposed to know are receiving them...I suppose I would start about half way in for the info I was describing, but frankly the Whole thing is Way Enlightening...
