If you're choosing one of the avatars already listed here...
Just RIGHT CLICK on the Halloween avatar that you like.
Choose "copy image link". (That will copy the image URL into your clipboard)
Then go to your UserCP, click on Change Avatar,
and (right-click) PASTE the image URL (from your clipboard) into the Avatar URL box,
then click the CHANGE AVATAR button at the bottom!

I tried it earlier but I don’t know what I did because it wasn’t working. Then I thought I’d try one more time before I tried the way Sol mentioned.
It’s good that there’s a couple of different options to switch them out and both are very much appreciated.
