Oh boy, guess the Hot Button Issues Forum was the right place for this! I am going off topic here, and you might just delete this, however . . .

I got a less heated exchange going from the Neo-Nazi group I accidentally walked into on Gab when I questioned their eugenics thread. They were so polite explaining how pure races were superior, how the Jews were behind the communist take over of America and how Hitler was not really such a bad guy, they even shared an interesting video on their hero.

Obviously, after figuring out what was going on, I stopped following them. But it was a logical and intelligent thread and no one was reduced to this.

As off topic as this post is, it relates to this thread in that everyone provided logical arguments with source material to back it and they didn't take anything personally. At first, they believed I was trolling them, but after explaining my position better, the conversation went smoothly. I told them that their group wasn't my thing and went on my way, they still follow me though (I should be careful now I guess).

Well, it IS your thread, soooo ... 

But seriously, personal attacks against other members rather than the topic at hand, and just pure bickering about unrelated stuff, are what I consider "off topic", and it is those that will be dealt with by post deletion.

Be thankful the NeoNazis didn't try to show you "Birth of a Nation" by DW Griffith. That one is a long silent film from 1915 or so, and it takes a lot of card reading to try to keep up with it, but it's still a favorite among Klannish types!
