The Ghost In The Machine - EndtheMadnessNow - 05-19-2022 In his 1967 book "The Ghost In The Machine", Arthur Koestler argues that the lack of natural cybernetic processes in the human organism necessitates the creation of an artificial substrate - a process he likens directly to alchemy. Surveillance Capitalism, while useful, is a somewhat misleading term. It fails to properly identify the role of intelligence agencies and by extension the state which has played in the development of the current paradigm. The Age of Surveillance Capitalism [PDF] "Capitalism" implies a certain level entrepreneuralism, genuine investment and competition. What we've actually got is military-industrial R&D, state procurement and monopolies. In this sense the neoliberal 'free market' is an utter lie, a complete and utter con job. The internet was built on the backs of military and financial networks. From the beginning...ARPANET to SWIFT > intelligence, the state and capital have been intertwined. And this relationship has only deepened. It is not new. Even the development of the personal micro computer is the result of military intelligence investment. The feedback loop is clear: military investment paid for through taxation develops a product that is then commercialized and sold back to the public who originally paid for it. Google, who quite possibly wouldn't have survived without investment from the surveillance state, builds NSA databases. In-Q-tel, the CIA venture capitalist arm, funds tech start ups from Recorded Future to Palantir. It's vitally important to realize this revolving door between intelligence agencies and capital is not at all a recent development: Quote:The Secret History of Facial Recognition And that the dialectical relationship within and between the two often erupts into globally important news about the true nature of power in the contemporary world: Mega Group, Maxwells and Mossad: The Spy Story at the Heart of the Jeffrey Epstein Scandal The above story is a mind-bending look at the interplay between genuine capital, intelligence agencies, the state and what we might call 'institutional capital', as well as the media, finance and technology... and can also be seen as the forerunner of this recent story: The intelligence coup of the century | Archived here. An interesting question is to what extent western intelligence agencies have gained independence from their parent states since WWII, and especially since the environment of security exceptionalism was engendered in the wake of 911. The Snowden revelations would seem to suggest 'quite alot'. And how much they support and run cover for each other: Five Eyes Course, we can't forget the UK Government's GCHQ which has a system for monitoring the entire internet: A simple guide to GCHQ's internet surveillance programme Tempora This is how you conduct geo-parapolitical memetic warfare. You install listening devices to monitor communications and when someone takes countermeasures you accuse them of doing basically what you were doing. Tempora Along with it's own 'troll farms' and disinfo networks just 5 klicks down the road from Bitchute: Here's a twitter executive who works inside the British Army's 77th Brigade secret information warfare machine who edit videos, record podcasts, creates thousands of sock puppet accounts and write viral posts. No big deal. Quote:A Twitter chief is also a reservist for the British Army’s information warfare unit It’s no accident that the 77th wear the Chinthe on their shoulder. Like the Chindits, they are a new kind of force. An unorthodox one, but in the eyes of the British Army also a necessary innovation; simply reflecting the world in which we all now live and the new kind of warfare that happens within it. Whilst you develop and deploy your system of hybrid warfare, you accuse your enemies of doing what you're doing: The 'War' in Russia's 'Hybrid Warfare' There's an obvious overlap here with mind control... Trick to winning is to get them into court to settle. Bonus: Settlements are tax-free. They'll do anything to keep a light from shining right on them. Back then, anything below a quarter-million was below the radar. Food for thought. There was always something wrong with Lanza going to that school. Always something wrong with the classroom he picked. What he did was targeted/focused. Something wrong about grown men being caught running through the woods at that hour trying to evade helicopters. |
