Calling Mars or ET Phone Home - NightskyeB4Dawn - 04-25-2022

You didn't think they were going to build a colony on Mars, and you not be able to phone home did ya?

You are not going to get Gen Z to leave their phones behind.

Elon Musk to the rescue!

Quote:In a recent event, Elon Musk has finally revealed the launch date and insane features of the Tesla Phone. Check out the video to know inside details.

RE: Calling Mars or ET Phone Home - NightskyeB4Dawn - 04-25-2022

Some are saying that the Tesla phone is a hoax. A publicity stunt.

Why all eyes have to be on Elon, makes me suspect as well.

Something just does not seem right with his agenda.

Quote:Release Date Estimate

Some estimates provide an ambitious release date of 2022, but we'll take Musk's tweet as evidence that these rumors are simply fantasies. Granted, Tesla could still release a phone in the future, but there's no reason to believe it'll happen with the information we currently have. If (that's a big if) this phone is genuinely being worked on in secret, and every rumor is accurate, there's little chance we'd see it until closer to 2030.

What is it they do not want us to see?

What is he really up to?

Quote:Nokia selected by NASA to build first ever cellular network on the Moon

19 October 2020

LTE/4G technology promises to revolutionize lunar surface communications by delivering reliable, high data rates while containing power, size and cost.

Communications will be a crucial component for NASA's Artemis program, which will establish a sustainable presence on the Moon by the end of the decade.

Nokia Bell Labs’ pioneering innovations will be used to build and deploy the first ultra-compact, low-power, space-hardened, end-to-end LTE solution on the lunar surface in late 2022.

Quote:LunaNet: The Moon Is Getting Its Own Internet... Sorta (Oct 12, 2021)

NASA developed LunaNet, an ‘internet’ network for the Moon and the Artemis missions. Artemis is NASA’s program to establish a long-term human presence on the Moon. The international moon program is the tip-of-the-sword of the US in the new space race, however, Artemis II has been delayed due to a legal lawsuit over a lunar landing module awarded to SpaceX by NASA and questioned by Blue Origin.

Marketing to the Moon, Mars, and beyond...All on Joke currency.?

On the flip-side Elon snaps up some the best engineers that are perhaps sick of the BS corporatocracy and get more freedom to innovate. However, better shiny lures to gain more followers. Tesla is becoming the new "Apple" on steroids where users get locked in and soon will have people jacked into his Neuralink.

Meanwhile...

Quote:The Tesla robot is coming. Elon Musk said the slightly-terrifying-looking humanoid Tesla Bot will go into production in 2023.

The project is officially known as ‘Optimus’ even though they also call it the ‘Tesla Bot’, and its promised arrival is a lot faster than we were expecting. Tesla is even on a hiring spree for people to work on the project.

Hi Night,

Seems this has been going on for years.  Create a future.  By Elon's estimation initially we should have people travelling to Mars right now as I text.  But that hasn't eventuated and by all latest calculations won't in at least the next 5 years.  Then set backs and so forth.  But that didn't stop people backing him.

I was sucked in by all the hype but now I see there is no focus on Elon's primary objective that was getting people into space and starting that farfetched animated colony on Mars.

Elon has expanded to electric vehicles, drilling, hyper link, cars, energy etc.  I admire that. Some great leaps in Tech and so on but his immediate projections and publicity leads me to think he is no better than Bezos, Virgin Galactic and NASA.  The advertising was such as that a Japanese man paying for the Starship orbit around the moon and a lot of people were sucked in.  That won't eventuate in the near future.  By predictions by Elon and the Japanese fellow it should have already happened.

All the setbacks are blamed on, FAA, NASA, Environment protection, Law, regulations and on and on.  Every now and then have a fireworks display with failed tech.

I love his missions to space with Falcon, Dragon capsules and Starlink.  Basically faultless and it's genius.  But I guess my bitch here is, don't tell people this and that is going to happen in the next year of 2.  Like Starship travel from point A to B around the Earth.  Yeah right, that's happening for sure.  The thing hasn't even made it to orbit let along 20 klms off the pad.

Things will happen in the next decade or so but I don't rely on Elon's immediate time frame.

Walt Disney had much the same ideals and we all believed in 'Tomorrow Land" ----then.  Kept Walt going.

My thoughts,

Kind regards,

Bally:)

Explanation: I am reminded of Arthur C Clarks [the guy who proposed satellites] 3 laws ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clarke%27s_three_laws

Quote:
  1. When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, they are almost certainly right. When they state that something is impossible, they are very probably wrong.
  2. The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
  3. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

Personal Disclosure: I am also reminded of an engineering axiom ...

Good, Fast, Cheap! PICK TWO ONLY OK!

Elon Musk has clearly chosen cheap and good hence none of that will happen fast!

RE: Calling Mars or ET Phone Home - fishertail - 04-25-2022

May be an unpopular opinion, especially in a conspiracy context, but I'm not so sure it's his agenda so much as he is simply an eccentric rich guy with his set of dreams and just the right degree of intelligence and networking/business skills to pull a lot of it off.
What I think is, he's both a threat & a tool to the big guys (kind of like the ones who use Biden as a pen to sign off on their BS). If they can play and take advantage of him in any way, that is bad news for people. And I'm betting they can if they haven't already. He's rich and smart but still human, and he has a name, respect, and a ton of money. Just like they're weaponizing the power The Mouse Down South has over people, they can weaponize Musk's persona. I hope he is outsmarting them and not playing into their agenda.
I hope even more that he's not willingly on their side.

We are hoping for the same thing.

I too hope that he is not our Oscar Zoroaster Phadrig Isaac Norman Henkle Emmannuel Ambroise Diggs of the new world order.

Worse yet I hope he is not a Manchurian Candidate.

I agree that he is human and that many considerate him smart. Both have been the reasons why we have gotten the short end of the stick throughout history, along with being supposedly super rich.

Poor, stupid, humans rarely end up controlling the masses.

The deal is done. At least the stone is rolling down the slope.

One thing that remains true with Elon, there is a whole lot of worlds of possibilities ahead.
