As Snopes pointed out, the US hornet jet and Russian Sukhoi planes are shaped very differently - so a cover up would be easily blown up.

It comes after the US accused Mr Putin of launching an airstrike on a UN aid convoy in Syria last month.


Officials claimed two Russia fighter jets launched the deadly attack on the outskirts of Aleppo in a "revenge attack" for an earlier airstrike that killed 60 people.

Witnesses reporters seeing Russian surveillance planes circling overheard before the convoy of 18 tracks carrying vital humanitarian supplies was struck by a series of missiles.

Russia, a key ally of Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad, denied any involvement in the attack.

Inspite of all the training, arms, and billions of dollars for the radicals, Aleppo is being taken over by forces friendly to Assad. You can expect desperate moves by the Darth Vader coalition as their plans of regime change fade as Russia, Iran, and the Syrian forces gain ground in Aleppo.

I just hope that when a British, Russian, or American aircraft gets shot down things do not escalate out of control for everyone. 

We have no business being there no matter how much Saudi Arabia et al wants Assad gone.

I really don't think Obama wants to get into it with Russia.
That is only asking for it.
Putin doesn't bluff.
Nor is he a whimp.


But then again, the way politics in general is really a game of illusion, this could just be a deflection of something else going on in the background.

Keep the public focused on one thing, while doing something else.
