Am wondering if the roof's gonna stay on.  The wind outside sounds like a train coming.

I've got a 50lb dog climbing into my lap for reassurance every minute or two.

Generally, sounds like a train is the sound of a tornado and it's a good idea to shelter in the bathroom or basement, away from windows.

I left work a little early yesterday so I could walk my dogs before the rain hit. 
Made it just in time too. 
The clouds opened up and it poured down rain!

I too, hate night storms. They are the worst due to the fact that you cannot see anything.
You can hear the wind and you pray that it's just that, the wind. Not a twirly. 




I have a feeling we are all in for a bumpy ride this April with the spring storms
