I wonder how the moon "works" under the surface.

That "square" reminds me a bit of Devil's Tower, Wyoming -- which is a column of rock that pushed upward from beneath the surface.

I like Ninurta's "cleaned up" image.  Almost looks like a gate.

The moon is full of hollowed out areas.
Or just hollow.

It will take several weeks to cover that distance. For two weeks a month, it cannot move and is in "hibernation", and for the time thst it can move, it only moves inches at a time due to the need to map out it's next move after assessing the terrain ahead of it. It's a very slow process.
