Hoping others will contribute photos to this thread.
The idea is to present photos that look like they may be one thing, but are something else altogether.
Here's one. "Fake UFO". The odd looking lights are reflections on glass of a room lamp.
The photo is of a sunrise over the Hurtgen Forest in Germany.
Cheers
I noticed a very bright light in the sky one night back in September, 2013, and took a picture.
I thought the string effect was caused by my hand not being steady, but...
after someone blew it up for me, it looks like a strange being of some kind. Yeah, I know; probably not.
Still gave me a very unsettling feeling when I saw that (below).
Definitely fucked me up the first time I saw it.
@"Mystic Wanderer" That is neat. And unusual.
@"GeauxHomeLittleD" Er, um,
@"Schmoe1" They are such funny animals. I often wonder what they are seeing and hearing that I am not.
Cheers

Not photos, but definitely the master of not being what it appears to be in the animal kingdom, the cuttlefish:
Here's one blending perfectly into it's environment-
Here's a sea krait, one of the most venomous sea snakes on earth-
Here's a cuttlefish mimicking the sea krait-
And here's a cuttlefish doing some sort of strobing believed to be used to hypnotize prey-

I refuse to believe that octopus is natural and not a video effect.
About as alien as it gets, and that's not even getting into their intelligence.
So if I eat it I will get more smarterer?
Yes, but it has to be eaten alive, some sort of osmosis shit happens.
