I have a hard time trusting that a three way relationship would last though, except for the sexual pleasure that comes to an end for one of the three involved at one point or another.

And the nagging?

One at a time, please.

JMO   minusculebiggrin

You need to get that house in order, bro.

Make 'em stand in line to nag.

The second will lose interest before the first is done nagging.

Thanks to all that have voted and commented and those that looked, scratched their heads and mumbled WTF!

With 184 views and a whopping 10 votes and two write in comments, a clear pattern is emerging.

It seems most guys would be in a hypothetical relationship with two women? With twice as many ladies in the kitchen making twice as many sammiches, it might be a good time to think about renewing that gym membership you let lapse or else these two women will run off together and dump your sorry fat ass!

The next most significant category voted for is “offended by my perverted curiosity”. If these votes weren’t meant as sarcastic or snarky humor as I intended that option to be, then I feel sorry for you and your tender sensibilities and offer you the opportunity to expand on your feelings and really open up and share because I’m now declaring this thread a safe space. Counselors and over sensitivity training will soon be made available for those that feel the need.  tinywondering

You’re on a web forum called Rogue Nation. I think it is expected that a few rogues might be encountered here? It would be boring AF if everybody was the same. I’ve heard there are places like that they sometimes call echo chambers and that doesn’t sound too fun to me in a been there, done that sort of way. As a gesture of Kumbaya, I’ve created an image to spearhead our occupation protests in a major city near you.

The responses from women are pretty mixed across the options. I voted for one man and one woman in my scenario but my second option would be two women. If I had to pick just one person instead of two, it would be with a guy. Maybe? I think? Probably? Depends?

MOTF, I appreciate your honest response. I’m likely not all that “hard core straight” either even though I was happily married to a man for a dozen years and know a guy I'd happily be involved with now if he wasn't an effing crybaby MGTOW..

It is hard to imagine how one of these 3-people things would work? For me anyway, if it was just a sexual thing, then it probably wouldn’t work unless my emotional needs were being met by both parties and that feeling was mutual all the way around. I think it would be hard to manage jealously even if all three people loved each other equally?

This all came about as a late night drinking and getting high game and like I said in the beginning, all just for fun.

Thanks for playin’!

Another write-in?: monogamy | or none. ... leaning heavily towards none.

I was plastered last night and didn't even realize there was a poll associated with your thread.   tinybighuh
Where is the 5 guys to worship me, remember my birthday and tolerate ALL my nonsense option? I looked and looked and looked? tinyshocked
@"Freija"

I don't mind these little mental exercises to be honest, gets me thinking about why I come to the conclusion I come to, and if somebody brings a point up to make me question my choice etc it's all just a bit of fun.

Wallfire

I think I could love the two sisters Hnoss and Gersemi, the mum might get upset. So I will go old school style, one man,or one woman, or reindeer at a time.
Sorry Guohua, dont get the whip out  tinysurprised
Regarding the "one man in a sea of women" option, it's not all it's cracked up to be in reality. I've actually lived with 3 women on two different occasions. The second set had been together long enough for all 3 of their menstrual cycles to have synced. At certain times, the house was like a minefield.

Pool halls and bars can be a viable second home.

On the plus side, those gals could cook, and cook well! Additionally, I never passed out drunk in the floor and woke up still in the floor. They always made sure I was in a bed somewhere before I woke up.

Yup, it could get dicey some times, but they took good care of me when I couldn't take care of myself. I think they may have just been keeping me as a pet.

A lot of wisdom in this post....or practice? Well...one of them.
Aw, looks like I’m the only one who voted one female and two males. Yeah, one guy would mostly be my sex/boytoy, and the other guy would be the one that would be more like a “marriage”. I know, smells like total bullshit, right?  minusculebonker

I missed the "poll" part as well (so much for expressing truly heart felt sentiment) otherwise spending a night with the Gorgon Sisters would be interesting.

Whatever, it's all good! I don't judge.....
No judging! What? Did you not know "GOD" is the personification of the noun descriptive 'Voyeur' regarding its Creations?

Okay, I'm even more lost than ever. Which god? If it was me, I'd pick one that wasn't such a peeping Tom.

I'm kinda leaning toward this one:

Sooooooo, with some tomato paste, mushrooms and garlic, you can Eat Your GoD????? CoooooooooooooL!
These things always end in disaster. Ask God why he created the universe the way he did. Then argue with him about it for ten thousand years. Then tell me What your opinion is?

Then tell me why your opinion matters. Why does gravity suck? Do you hate gravity? Who cares. It's there whether you like it or not.

Threesomes lead to destruction, and the universe doesn't give a fuck about your OPINION on it.

A nefarious Foody Cult/religious sect using Cannibalism (symbolized disguised) as an aspect of Ouroboros knowledge becomes through 'Pasta Worship' all powerful. Similar to the RomanCC's communion service...rice wafer=flesh/wine=blood describes an intent to cannibalize God. Not sure sends a positive message.

I never said the universe did or should GAF about my opinion. That being the case, why did you share yours? I’m happy you did though and stand by your right to have an opinion even if I, the universe or nobody else gives a fuck.

PS
I’m okay with gravity however, my boobs may think otherwise?

Mommy, Mommy, she said "boobs".....

Seriously though, Wookiep's got a point.

From a Universe perspective, our opinion is totally irrelevant. Good, bad, angelic, evil, right or wrong are all human concepts and creations.

The Pale Blue Dot, discussed by Carl Sagan, has always been a reminder (to me) that we are microscopic. Our values are inbred, learned from our family or life experiences. My personal value tells me that having no more than one person at a time in my relationship is the best course of action to remain in a peaceful relationship. For others, this might not feel right, and it's ok.

The Universe though? It clearly couldn't care less..

P.S. For sex though...the more, the better... tinylaughing
I think the Chinese have a symbol for disharmony. It is a house with two women inside.. ??

I actually lived with two girls back in 1975-76. They had their own bedrooms and it was up to them to work out who came to my bed nightly...Pretty darn smart on my account I do believe.. I loved them both dearly but after maybe six months the younger girl 19 and the older girl 23 were just about ready to kill each other.  So I had the younger move out which worked out for me as I saw her when I wanted to see her. She went to school and ended up getting married to a good friend of mine and is/was living in Vegas the last time I saw her. The 23 year old got married after I left country and got her wish of having a baby..

Back then I was in the service and had no intention of getting married as I never knew what my next mission or destination was going to be and at the time I did not want any excess baggage in my life.. But those are fond memories that I hope I never forget

I have been very lucky this life as I have always had great girlfriends and wives.... I do believe it is better to love one 100% than spread your love around as it takes a thought or a little bit of love away from the one you are married to..

My present wife I adore as she is more than I deserve as far as being beautiful and loving to me. Unfortunately I taught her golf 10 years ago so she has a trophy case with 6 tournament trophies; instead of me winning all the time she kicks my butt (for money) unless I am playing my "A" game !! She putts, chips, and she hits her 9.5 degree Man's stiff shaft driver as far if not farther than the girls on the LPGA and 80% of the guys we play with.. No I do not give her strokes anymore we play heads up and pay double for birdies. She had 3 birdies the last time we played 4 days ago.. and I had two !! Not easy being me !!
Just for the record...

I am not advocating for or promoting polyamory, promiscuity or non- monogamous relationships, bisexuality or homosexuality. This started out simply as a thought exercise between two drunk and very high friends in the wee hours of the morning and we had a good laugh over it. She is pathologically straight and 28 years younger. I have a tad more worldly experience and am a bit more let's say, heteroflexible? If we were in competition for guys in the same age bracket, I’d doubt we’d get along as well as we do.

I don’t think I could ever be in a 3-way relationship although at one point in the distant past, I did have independent feelings for and relationships with two different people at the same time with them both having knowledge of the other and being more or less okay with it.

Toward the end of the marriage to my husband, we discussed opening things up as a way to possibly save it which was my hope but it was doomed anyway and I ended up with this other person for the next five years but this was not the reason my marriage failed. I’ve been divorced 22 or 23 years now and my ex-husband and his wife treat me like family and I think of him now more like the brother I never had.

3-way relationships? Naw, I don’t think so but have I ever had sex with more than one person at a time? I’ll never tell! tinyhuh

Thanks again for everyone's comments!
