Here we go, I find myself walking down the street,
Thinking I might find myself something good to eat.

I ran across a friend of mine I was surprised  to meet
But can’t talk long, it’s 12 o’clock, I’ve got a crowd to beat!

I’m on a healthy diet now, no sugar and no meat
But today I felt I’ve been so good that I deserve a cheat!

I found my local cafe and went in to take a seat
Oh look a piece of apple pie! Yes, that would be a treat!

My tummy’s full, I need a nap, with all this Summer heat
A grand idea, heading home and thinking this is neat!

A vision! Peter Cottontail, some folks call him Pete
Chilling on my front lawn cooling off his fuzzy feet.

So I put a bullet in his head
'Cause I want rabbit meat.

Thought I would put a cheerful entry into the contest first so my new neighborhood doesn't think that I am... slightly off.
