I don't know what it's spraying either. But I didn't see any propellers.They could have been dumping their Waste before assuming F T L (faster than light) travel.

It's hard to see them, but if you stop the video at :02 and :03 at the very beginning, you can see a shadow above the craft.
You can't see them after that because it's too far away. Anything with propellers has to be our primitive junk.
