“It's important - now more so than ever - that passenger service is a top priority of both airlines and airports, ensuring they receive the experience they deserve, so it's fantastic to see that Singapore is setting the standard for customer-first service”, said AirHelp's UK manager Marius Fermi.

“This research should hopefully give airlines and airports across the world, particularly in the UK, a nudge to improve their quality and punctuality urgently before the travel rush starts this summer.”

Thailand’s Suvarnabhumi named among the world’s worst airports but to be fair it is huge with poorly layed out markings on where to go... such as customs, departure screening and pass port control. Plus 5 huge levels does not help... it takes a while to get used to the lay out

Yep .... changi airport in singapore quite nice .... was just there few days ago .....  though did find it rather amusing that standing in que to go through customs had customs officer walk up and ask to see my passport .... guess stood out as didnt have my face glued to mobile screen like everyone else along with was exercising my usual state of situational awareness unlike the mindless masses .....  otherwise singapore was a FINE city as always ( hmph.... got fined s51.00 for have 6 packs of cigarettes with me as they cheaper in japan so had brought 3 day supply ...... everywhere else in world ya allowed 1 carton duty free ..... theiving bastards grrrr ..... )

Not been thailand in years so cant comment on airport there ......

Think list biased as japan got better airports than singapore ......
Better to reign in hell ....
  than serve in heaven .....
