Loch Ness monster been finally solved with one photo?
#1
To tell the Truth, I nor my husband have believed in the Lock Ness Monster or Big Foot.
The photo and article I'm going to attach still doesn't convince us.
Maybe Gordi mediumbagpiper  can shed more light on this.
Quote:The moment that three monster-like humps rise out of the waters of Loch Ness has been captured on film by amateur photographer Ian Bremner – adding fuel to the fire that the monster really does exist.

The 58-year-old photographer said he was left stunned when he realised his photograph may be one of the only pieces of evidence proving the existence of the creature.
The whisky warehouse worker said he had been driving around the Highlands in search of red deer, also taking photos of the calm waters of the Loch Ness.
But it wasn’t until the father of four got back  home to Nigg in Invergordon that he looked through his photos – and realised what he might have been looking at through the camera lens.

The photograph taken by Bremner appears to show a long silver creature, at least two metres long, swimming away from the lens with its head bobbing and tail flapping.
Coming up for air, the slippery creature glistens in the sunlight, with its powerful stroke causing ripples in the calm water.
The photograph was taken close to the banks of the loch on Saturday afternoon midway between the villages of Dores and Inverfarigaig.Source

Now for the picture and Keep in the Back of your mind the possibility of someones Large Boa Constrictor being Released!

Amateur photographer Ian Bremner, 58, said he caught sight of the monster while searching for red deer.

At least this picture is clear.
It could easily be a large snake.  If it was close by, it would look larger in the water due to no reference point of how far the photographer was standing on shore.

I think, if the Loch Ness Monster really does exist, it only on bleeds into our reality from a parallel reality from long ago, and only when the conditions are right for it to bleed through.  Thus, why no more evidence is ever found.

The 'front-end' looks like a grey seal and I'd dare say the rear parts are seals
following.

But that's a bit of a reach to be fair, it means the photographer had to be
taking multiple pictures until -and it's a slim chance, that the seals would
behave in this single-file manner and be submerging at a particular time.

We don't have snakes that large over here in the UK, unless one was
released from captivity and I don't think a boa constrictor would chance
those cold, peaty waters anyway.

Like I say, it's a bit of a stretch. The only other option is....
(Oh my, I actually put my foot in that loch, a few years ago!)
...Well, Nessie!

Yes, that does make sense.

And... we only have the newspaper's word that this image is of Loch Ness.

Remember, The Sun newspaper belongs to Murdoch and it's ex-sister paper
was The News of The World. A Now defunct gossip rag that was ended after
the 'celebrity phone-hacking' scandal.

Here's The Daily Mail's contribution of the story and the image they
offer does certainly look like a Gray seal at the front.

Hiya,
Yes, clearly seals.

Especially in the Daily Mail photo linked by BIAD.

Nothing to do with Loch Ness I'm afraid.

Is there a Loch Ness "monster"?

Probably not. BUT that is a VERY VERY deep Loch and there is a suspicion that there is a direct underwater link to the sea...

So, who can say for sure?

I have a feeling that the Loch is a bit too busy now for such creatures to come to the surface much.
In the past, the whole area was SUPER-QUIET... I am open to the possibility that SOMETHING was there.... but not convinced at all by any of the recent sightings/photos.

Anyone fancy a wee expedition to investigate in person?

Yeah, apparently the occasional seal wanders in down the river Ness  from the Moray Firth.
Seals can be communal of course, so it's possible three swam into the loch, but the actual
image seems more coastal.
Just my opinion.

Just an update...

I took a look back at the photo and the person who took it and I was surprised
at the home location of the Mr. Bremner, a place called 'Nigg' next to Cromarty Firth
in Northern Scotland.

The expanse of water is often a haven for dolphins and seals that seem to enjoy the
remoteness and quiet waters.

I have no proof that Ian Bremner took the single image at this nearby-to-his-home
location, but I'm sure it would be more convenient if one was photographing seals!

Later, I found these comments on a site discussing the phenomena and I must admit,
I agree with them!

I'm far from convinced the Bremner pic was taken at the loch.
Just doesn't look like Loch Ness water to me.
I think the clue may be in where he lives - Nigg.
I'm guessing it's a photo taken in one of the firths.

It looks like some sort of sea channel to me.

RP McMurphy16 September 2016 at 04:45
Hmmm look at the water colour and the discolouration at the top
and bottom which jbdicates shallower water.

You won't see that water effect on the loch in my experience.

The minute I saw this pic I thought it was seawater and I remain
sure that's the case. It's reminiscent of a channel in one of the firths.

Just my two-pence worth!
