Where has the Flu Gone?
#1
I've been asking family, friends, and people at work if they've heard of anyone getting the Flu lately.  None of them have.  Not in 2 years at least.

Gee, where has it gone?  I guess the Flu didn't mask up or socially distance, and the deadly covid wiped it out?

Have any of my fellow rogues heard of anybody you know getting the Flu in the past 2 years?

Nope,,,, No Flu  tinywondering don't know of anyone that has had the Flu in 20 years and none of my friends get a Flu Shot.
Why would anyone Purposely get a Virus to Fight a Virus if you're Healthy and keep your hands and face washed?

Now that you mention it, I don’t think I have. Although it wouldn’t surprise me if some who tested positive for covid actually had the flu.

We had some sort of flu-like bug a couple of weeks ago. Afterwards it left me with a sinus infection that I still have a few days of antibiotics left to take for. It was like a mild flu and lasted around 5-6 days for me, Kdog kicked it in about 3-4 days.

There is a small chance that it could have been Covid because neither of us could even smell Vicks Salve but many times a cold or flu does that as well so who knows? Wasn't worrying enough to get tested.

I had some respiratory symptoms about a week ago, 2 days or so....it did not go to flu as i started  medicate myself with natural ingredients and the lung issue was then gone , also did more
exercise to help lungs ...it´s important to get fresh air and get blood moving.

Ditto the "common cold".  A clear indicator the covid stats are f-d up as Hogan's Goat.

Whatever the weird-thing I caught earlier this year wasn't a something I'd ever call 'a flu'.

The first morning it effected me physically similar to the usual flu symptoms, but the crazy mental
stuff, the total loss of memory of some instances and the need to follow a certain pattern during
the nights of the next three weeks, was not conducive with any kind of delirium that could be
attributed to a a flu-like virus.

There were no headaches, no chills, cough or aching muscles. No laboured breathing, no feeling
sick -except one time I actually vomited so violently and even though I had my head inside the
toilet bowl, I spattered the walls two feet away and my head/face and covered the floor with dark
brown vomit.
(Gaah!)

No, it was something else.

Nope, no flu in this area, or for 50 miles in any direction from here. I reckon we have managed to eradicate the flu, same as we allegedly did for smallpox. All it took was a new virus from Wuhan, which apparently scared the shit out of the flu, and caused it to commit mass suicide.

My 2 cents worth says the masks, social distancing and hand sanitizer killed it out... like it would have it COVID had never even reared its ugly head, lol!

Thanks, BIAD, for giving me a helmet in my avatar... much more comfortable than a mask.

You're welcome!

I think you're right about the alienation being a contributor to keeping the normal seasonal flu situation in
countries to a mere storyline that didn't warrant reporting. And besides, the word 'flu' doesn't have the same
scary connotations as a virus' name that sounds like a nerve-agent!

I think it's a sad time when first-world countries have to be told to wash their hands as part of a remedy, wasn't
that a standard thing at one time? Although, I don't recall it being advice to combat flu in the past and of course,
one would just 'isolate' when feeling ill anyway.

But today, we now have a highly-transmissible virus that doesn't have symptoms if you're already immune or take
an injection that doesn't stop that transmission... there's a joke in there somewhere.
It's almost like a horse with a horn on its head being called a unicorn -except there's no such thing as a horned-horse

Using words and a type of infectious disease, the systems we've slowly been acclimatised to have been -are still follow,
are screwing us with our pants on. Narratives evolve quicker than a Influenza infection and the fever of these poorly
-constructed chunks of fear-porn travel faster than anything China could have created.

I still titter when I see Governments advising isolating oneself for ten days, advice based on a working-week, not on the
internal duration of this particular flu! (It used to be fourteen days, but they dumped the idea because it meant absence
from worshipping on a Sunday and could effect weekend Journalism! Like we're suppose to believe that you can only
catch Covid on a Monday?)

If you look at the planning that went into the publicity of this situation, I believe the international fear that it created can
be seen to originate when other headline-grabbing events waned.

Orrrrrr... perhaps events that someone didn't WANT to grab a headline, and hence needed to be drowned out with some good ol' attention grabbing fear porn...

Yep... same coin, just a different way of tossing it!

The sad reality is that regardless of whether anyone is still watching mainstream news, the total overlook of the rationality
they spew out daily, is quite worrying. 'The vaccine is the answer'... 'The second vaccine is the answer'...'The Booster is the
answer'. it's can make one laugh, but it ain't funny.

I heard one Journalist commenting (because most of TV news is just Journalists-talking-to-Journalists) -that many of the public
are turning to the internet for their answers to the current situation and it's all fake. I can understand that as they seeing their
jobs dwindling, but don't they see that they're nothing but infotainment-artists now and the ethical position they've put themselves
in? Oddly enough, it's the exact title they gave Alex Jones!

Heavens forbid a meteor comes hurtling towards us, who's gonna believe them!

You are so right about exercising the lungs with fresh air. Something like a Wim Hoff short breathing exercise is worth it's weight in gold. Practice deep full breathing and walking will keep your lymphatic system working and your lungs in healthy working order.

Yup, TV news has devolved to just being  a bunch of "journalists" bouncing their opinions off of one another. I like that definition, it's so very accurate.

Do you recall the days when the internet was touted to be the "information superhighway", with the sum total of all human knowledge contained in it? When did it suddenly become thee DISinformation superhighway? Maybe we were watching TV news when that change occurred, and we missed the memo... good thing the TV talking heads didn't miss it, so that they are able to inform us of that sea change, nuh?

The biggest problem with the Flu, is when it does return, the Sheeple who have been Vaxxed have a Very weakened Immune System and they are more than likely going to Die.

Guess we no longer get "regular sick" these days -- it's all about covid, nothing more. smdh

I remember late last year, in California, there was a county that normally had 17,000+ flu cases. Only for it to drop down to a whopping 37 cases.   tinybighuh

A demand for an audit on corona cases ensued, but I never heard what became of it, if anything -- found an article on the dramatic decrease of the flu

Dec. 2020
Quote:We are well into flu season, but San Diego County’s data for flu infections only shows 36 reported cases so far this year. Carl DeMaio tweeted out this shocking revelation, comparing it to this time in other years saying, “In a typical year we get over 17,073 on average!”

DeMaio explained, “if you are going to use a set of numbers like COVID stats to shut down the economy, to take people’s livelihoods away, then we have to really look closely at what those numbers really mean, and whether those numbers are giving us the right picture.” Continuing, “my concern has been from the get go, that we are relying on numbers from government agencies, that may have a different agenda at stake. We would benefit from having a different set of eyes looking at them, such as an auditor or a citizens review committee. Because again, the decisions being made on these data sets are sweeping, the lockdowns are far reaching in terms of their impact.”

Carl DeMaio calls for audit of COVID-19 data; only 36 flu cases reported

Yup, no more flu
No more colds
No more allergies

They have now been all lumped into one category. One sickness -->> COVID19 -->> which has now expanded to different variants. Evolving more quickly than the flu strains ever did . Which is why many scientists suspect it being a man made virus.

Even tho this man is a Nobel Prize recipient, he is fair game to be discredited and accused of spreading 'misinformation' for not going along with the narrative.

His fault ---- making claims that the vaccines could be responsible for the variants

Nobel Prize Winner: COVID Variants “Are A Production And Result From The Vaccination”

Quote:The vaccines don’t stop the virus, argues the prominent virologist, they do the opposite — they “feed the virus,” and facilitate its development into stronger and more transmittable variants. These new virus variants will be more resistant to vaccination and may cause more health implications than their “original” versions.

During the interview, professor Montagnier referred to the vaccine program for the coronavirus as an “unacceptable mistake.” Mass vaccinations are a “scientific error as well as a medical error,” he said. “The history books will show that, because it is the vaccination that is creating the variants.” Montagnier explained that “there are antibodies, created by the vaccine,” forcing the virus to “find another solution” or die. This is where the variants are created. It is the variants that “are a production and result from the vaccination.”

And he is not the first or only scientist to say this about the mRNA vaccine.

They are not anti-vaxxers, but rather worry about the dangers of a vaccine that appears to make the symptoms worse.

Quote:Montagnier details that the mutation and strengthening of the virus occurs owing to the phenomenon known as Antibody Dependent Enhancement (ADE). ADE is a mechanism that increases the ability of a virus to enter cells and cause a worsening of the disease. ADE occurs when the antibodies generated during an immune response recognize and bind to a pathogen, but they are unable to prevent infection. Instead, these antibodies act as a “Trojan horse,” allowing the pathogen to get into cells and exacerbate the immune response.
