Teacher quits before school board in Loudoun County, VA
#1
At first blush, this appears to be an education topic, but it's not. It's pure politics, right down to the political kommissar level.

A Loudoun County, VA, teacher stood before the school board, said her piece, and quit. She didn't want to quit. That much is abundantly clear. She was forced to quit, because of the political stance her bosses at the school board have taken, expecting her to do their political dirty work in miseducating her students.

To make matters even worse, according to the video they even lock concerned parents out of their meetings now, because opposition to their political agenda is so strong, and they can't handle citizen comments. At the end of the video, they cut her mic when she is advising parents, students and teachers to ALL pull out of the Loudoun County School system and flood into private schools. See, schools get Federal money based in part upon the size of their student body. Fewer students, fewer bucks, and they can't have that.

She'll get another job, somewhere, with different students. She'll be ok. This is Loudoun County's loss, to the detriment of it's students. Not that Loudoun County cares about the welfare of it's students - just as long as they have the proper political indoctrination. Education no longer matters there - political indoctrination to make good little proles is what matters.

I have no doubt this will be coming to a school board near you, before you know it, before this ends.

Quote:School boards - this is where your "woke" political bullshit is taking us. Teachers are gonna start quitting, because they are no longer allowed to educated students, and are expected to be political commissars instead. Get your heads out of your collective asses. Teach students. Leave the politics to the professionals. that is all.

- A concerned citizen who is well away from Loudoun County

It's sickening, and it's NOT "for the children".

.
Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

Exactly - depending on the parents. When a parent does not care about their child's future, is too wrapped up in their own future, it leaves the State to mold the child into the prole it wants that child to be, with no parental interference.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.". - Proverbs 22:6

That whole part of VA is really weird. I know I am a Midwesterner and was like a fish out of water there but dang...

I hope she lands on her feet too.
