Quote:FB has just blocked Law Enforcement Today - with it's nearly 900,000 members - from posting. All admins blocked from posting to any page and group they are associated with. This is out of control.

I do wonder if plans are being placed for something big that is coming this way or as many know already Facebook bows to the planned socialist/communist take over ?

I believe it is something wicked this way coming.

The Purge is running out of control, and more and more people are getting uneasy. battle lines are being drawn. Pissing off the law Enforcement community might have not been a very bright move. Law Enforcement Today is not really a LE publication, but a lot of current and former LEO's rely on it for the straight information. In the absence of the straight information, they will make their own decisions.

This does not actually injure the site itself, but it DOES injure their rapid dissemination of unfolding events. People will now have to just about sit on LET to stay up to date, and that can't be a good thing. Folks won't do that. They will just evaluate unfolding events that are within their line of sight, and look to LET later to see if they made the right call.

This is becoming more apparent every day that it is not about "violence" from the Right, it is about breaking communication, balkanizing everyone to inhibit their effectiveness and ability to organize.

The internet could have been something great, but we have become too dependent on it for information, and they control the internet, and therefore the flow of information. That should never have been allowed, any more than folks are allowed to dam up water running across their land and depriving folks downstream of water.

Back in the day, when a man dammed up the water and deprived other folks, more usual than not the law never got to him to tighten him up. By the time the law got there, he was already in a shallow grave, and the downstream folks had their water.

Diogenes was eating bread and lentils for supper. He was seen by the philosopher Aristippus, who lived comfortably by flattering the king.

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

I think that TPTB fear they do not have the support they need to take the people down, they fear the police, army will not react the way they need to take control.
Information and communications are not as easy to control as it seems, control can only be archived if people believe what the government says and all other information controlled (blocked).

I got a notion that the powers that be are going to come down on Mark Zuckerberg  in the not too distant future. Public use is waning as well as many friends and family abandoning the platform. Much like what happened to My Space in what seems like a decade ago.

It's gonna get complex. I have ears in the military, and some are eating this crap up, believing everything they hear. Some are solidly behind Biden under the guise of "supporting the government as is our mission" in their effort to be apolitical. It's impossible to tell at this juncture who really believes that, and who is just paying lip service to preserve their own freedom. At least some, I have no doubt, truly believe it. There is also admission that there will be "dissent in the ranks". How much, it's impossible to say at this particular point, due to the paranoia being engendered in general. Folks are afraid to speak their minds because it may jeopardize them. Expressing a political opinion has always been touchy in the military - they are supposed to be, and in normal times should be, politically neutral. These are no longer normal times, but the rules remain. What the military will be asked to do is support a Marxist takeover of the US. Some will balk at that, some will proceed with it, and right now it's impossible to tell who may have an attack of conscience that may give them internal conflict.

Police, also, are divided. Their remit is to protect and serve their citizenry, regardless of politics. Those in urban areas have a Liberal citizenry, and of course they would be expected to support their citizens, regardless of whether or not the citizens support THEM. Those in rural areas have a more Conservative citizenry, and the same applies there with the exception that rural Conservatives tend to support their police more than urban Liberals, so it's easier for the rural police to do their jobs properly. They, at least, have the support of the majority of their citizens.

One sheriff, in a neighboring county to this one, suddenly and without warning switched his political party, much to the dismay of Democrats whom he formerly was a member of. There was a bit of uproar around that party switch as Democrats suddenly started trying to trash him, but he held fast saying that he could no longer be a member of a party whose goal was to defund and destroy him. I voted for him, by the way. Not as a "Democrat" or a "Republican", but as a good man, a man of conscience. He was a Democrat when I voted for him, but has since come over to the Dark Side.

It's gonna get "interesting", and by interesting I mean complex.

There is a mountain of opportunities for anyone who has the money and tech knowledge to build new platforms that would be a place for all these people getting kicked off FB and Twitter, IG, etc. to go.

GAB recognized this years ago and started working on it. Today they reap the reward of all those jumping ship from other sites, or being banned.

What else is needed out there where all of us "evil terrorists" can get certain information?

Get to it.

Not to change topics, but I'm thinking this is "The Lull before the STORM" ..
I would think people are getting in place and plans are being formulated, a full scale displeasure is on the horizon, one with unsurmountable difficulties and completely unavoidable.

This is an absolute truth, I am living it 'as we speak'

Indeed, there is so much  anger at/in media, even from within, I think FB will plummet or legally be challenged into oblivion. Who will take the slot left ? A new entity. Lets make sure it is American, not foreign

America is no longer a safe place to set an actual free speech platform up. It would have to be offshore, maybe in the Caymans, or Tonga, or somewhere that liberty still breathes and has not been choked to death.

If I were Trump, the instant I left office, whether through impeachment or through the clock simply running out, that very instant I would be bound for the Canadian border, and from there to somewhere relatively unreachable, where liberty still lives, if any such place still exists. If no such place exists, I would get as close to that ideal as is Earthly possible. They will not be satisfied until they have killed him. I've seen it too many times before to think otherwise.
