Election Day 2020
#21
I never thought about it this way, that is why I like watching news from other countries. They give a different, unbiased news report that the U.S. news outlets will not do.

Biden fought election to 'express anger' not so much to win.....interesting
Not saying it's true, but a reasonable explanation for his lack of enthusiasm.

Maryland is hinky, too. They've called it for Biden, but Biden only has 38.5% of the vote vs. Trump at 59.7%. They un-called North Carolina, but Biden is leading there so far at 0.2% of the vote. It looks to me like Trump is taking everything below the Mason-Dixon line except NC, and that by the thinnest of margins, yet they have called 2 states there against the votes in them, with Trump leading by a wide margin in those two...

Right now Trump has the lead in electoral points.

And he won FL.   smallgreenbananadancer

No results will be announced tonight. Some states say they won't announce until Friday. This is when the fraud gets worked in.
No surprise here. They already told us not to expect the results tonight.

Okay, I'm over and out for now.  Good night.

As it stands right now, if the lean holds, Trump will have 299 electoral votes against Biden's 239. If it holds. That is counting the states that have already been called and the ones that are merely "leaning".

Popular vote is Biden at 49.8 vs. Trump at 48.6. If that holds AND the electoral college holds, then expect more whining about "butbutbut popular vote!", showing once again the wisdom of the founders in creating an electoral college.

It may be the only thing that saves the Republic at this juncture of history. If it holds.

And I won't freeze to death one lonely night because Biden banned fracking. The only heat I have is natural gas.

On the positive side, the map shows where all the Socialists live. Watch your back, @"Guohua" - you're behind enemy lines same as I am!

Seems the rest of the states have shifted counting over to the late late night crew, AKA the fuckaround gang, seems who won't "know" the outcomes until noon in most of these states. Giving the F around gang plenty of time to make this right for "democracy".

And finally, here's the meltdown(on CNN that I'm watching). Trump just spoke about how it seems several states seemed to have "stopped" counting(and it does seem that way, many on the east coast can't seem to figure it out even with 8 hours of time, even though larger states managed to do so hours ago.

Finally, I got my entertainment, CNN went off the rails after his speech. I think the fact of the matter is that nobody wouldn't expect those states, who've had 6 to 8 hours to count votes, seemingly stall out and claim they'll need another 12 hours or in some cases several days.

WI, MI have counted about 80 percent of their votes in the first 3 hours(roughly) after their polls closed, in the last 3 they have managed to count almost nothing.

This really looks like nothing more than a few states trying to "hold hostage" the outcome of this election.

I can't say I'm shocked, I'm not surprised if I wake up(late, around noon) tomorrow(later today) and see them all a sea of blue....

Hmmm...

When I went to bed, Biden had no way he could get to 270. Trump had a comfortable lead of several percent each in both WI and MI. When I woke up, Biden had magically flipped WI and MI, and oddly enough he is leading by exactly the same percentage in each of those two, and also magically, they would get him to exactly 270.

Things that make you go "hmmm..."

Breaking news in Arizona. Voters were given Sharpies purposefully to mark their ballots so it would void their votes in Queen Creek and Gilbert.

@PressSec I’ve said hundreds of times Arizona has a massive scale voter fraud problem every single election. SOMEBODY PLEASE LISTEN!!!!

Both sides are going to tie this up in court so long that one day we'll wake up and Nancy Pelosi will be our POTUS!

I'm going back to not giving a damn about politics, falling back into my ignorant slumber. Seems the Republicans are too weak to win, and the DemocRats are too evil to beat.

I hope the world as I know it lasts another 10 years, but I fear Communism will sweep in quickly if Harris wins, so I'm not holding my breath.
Sometimes I wish I had never "woke up" to see the corruption. I think I'd rather be blindly ignorant like a lot of others than to "be awake" and know what's about to hit me head on.

Sharpies do not invalidate a ballot.

In fact a sharpie is less likely to cause smudging than a gel or ball point. But none will likely make the vote invalid, unless the ink leaks all over the paper.

I understand the fear of one party or the other of cheating, especially if the count is not in their favor, but it sounds like an unnecessary fear, since no one knows who you are voting for if you don't tell them, and political demonstrations is frowned upon at the polling stations.

For every one person that read this post. About 7.99 billion have not.

Yet I still post.  tinyinlove

Damn shame. Joe Biden's video where he said "We have created the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in US political history: has apparently been scrubbed from YouTube, such that Snopes is saying "never happened". It's still available on Twitter for the moment, but I don't know enough about navigating Twitter to find it myself, and even if I could I can't download crap from Twitter to archive for posterity. I expect that shortly it will have magically disappeared from Twitter, too.

ETA: Here it is. Grace told me how to find it. She looks out for my old ass. Watch it while it's still there...

Where did you find that @"BIAD"?  link?   I'd like to share this with some people on Twitter, but I need a source.

It's from a Tweet I saw on a video... but I'm not on Twitter. I also saw it on this video at 31.42.
