NASA shuts down live International Space Station feed as 'mysterious UFO enters Earth
#1
Yes you read that correctly and watch the video in the article.
Quote:The incident caused speculation online - and is not the first time NASA have been accused of tampering with the feed
Well we all know they Do and More! Airbrush and Photo Shop!
Quote:UFO spotters have raised the alarm after the International Space Station live feed cut out just as a large mysterious object appeared to enter Earth's atmosphere.
The incident occurred on July 9 and was first reported by prolific UFO hunter Streetcap1 in a video uploaded the same day.
The enthusiast did not directly imply that the object was an alien spacecraft saying: “This could well be a meteor or the like.
But he implied that the camera being turned off was slightly sinister: "What made it interesting was that the camera cut off when the UFO seemed to stop.”
Other enthusiasts put forward theories including one who suggested in could be the Chinese space cargo ship Tiangong-1.

This is not the first time that UFO hunters have accused NASA of cutting transmission after a mysterious UFO appeared on the live ISS stream.

A NASA spokesperson made a statement earlier in April denying allegations that NASA technicians deliberately shut down transmission when UFOs appear on the live video.

It appears to be spinning, sort of like a meteor coming at an angle towards the earth.  Was there a fireball about that time?  It could be some sort of satellite that is spinning, even space junk from an old rocket.  Why would they close the feed though.  Maybe if people knew how much junk is up there they would start questioning whether we should be sticking more up there.  What goes up will eventually come down.

Thank You.
Yes there's a lot of Junk Up There, But the question is, Why Shut Off The Camera? tinywondering

OK We have NASA's Reply as to why they Camera Shut Off as That Object was seen entering Earths Atmosphere.
Quote:Some speculate that the object may be the now-vacant Chinese Space Station Tiangong-1 tumbling back towards Earth, or it may simply be a meteor.
"Remember a ufo is an unidentified flying object. This could well be a meteor or the like. What made it interesting was the camera cut off when the ufo seemed to stop," Streetcap1 wrote on the YouTube page.

But NASA says there's a fairly mundane explanation for why the feed was interrupted.

"The video is from our High Definition Earth Viewing (HDEV) experiment aboard the ISS, which is mounted externally on the ISS," NASA spokesperson Daniel Huottold CNET via e-mail. "This experiment includes several commercial HD video cameras aimed at the Earth, which are enclosed in a pressurized and temperature-controlled housing. The experiment is on automatic controls to cycle through the various cameras."

Huot continued: "The station regularly passes out of range of the Tracking and Data Relay Satellites (TDRS) used to send and receive video, voice and telemetry from the station," he said. "For video, whenever we lose signal (video comes down on our higher bandwidth, called KU) the cameras will show a blue screen (indicating no signal) or a preset video slate."
Awwww,  tinysurprised OK, So you're saying it was Swamp Gas or Mercury Rising?  tinysure

It is odd regardless of loss of a high bandwidth frequency, an object comes into view and just
as Rickymouse says, this would be a perfect time to show viewers that not everything up there
is weird craft from another galaxy!

If it's junk, then let the conspiracy crazies see the metal garbage -or better yet, film a meteor
entering the earth's atmosphere. It's a perfect opportunity for either one.

But no, the signal is lost according to NASA and whatever it was, is now only what NASA suggest
it was. Your public dollars at work!
