Climate Change?
#1
Wake-Up Sheeple you are being Mislead and Used.
You are being Conditioned to Believe EVERY THING they tell you.
Ask them to prove this Climate Has NEVER Occurred before in History before the Modern Revolution.
They Can't!

Quote:Europe's flight-shame movement has travellers taking trains to save the planet

I didn't Fully realize our planet needed saving  tinywhat!!!
Actually, Phoenix, AZ. summer started late and has been much more Humid than some years, BUT, this is not unusual.
I guess in Europe, if it's hotter than the year before,,,,,,,,, it is Climate Change and the Earth Is Dying.
Quote:If he had hopped on a plane, Johan Hilm would have travelled from Sweden to Austria in two hours.

Instead, the lanky Swede made an epic overland journey by rail, bus and ferry that took more than 30 hours.

He joined a growing crowd of Europeans who are spurning air travel out of concern for the environment this northern hemisphere summer.

He Joined the Truly Uninformed Masses that don't think for themselves or investigate and question what their Government tells them.
They just assume the Government Cares For them.

Quote:Budget airlines such as Ireland's Ryanair and British easyJet revolutionised European travel two decades ago, when they first started offering to scoot people across the continent for as little as US$20 ($30) a flight.

But that mode of travel, once celebrated as an opening of the world, is now being recognised for its contribution to global problems.
Excuse me,,,,,, But 20 or so years of air travel has Doomed our Planet?????

Quote:Tourists have been spooked by the realisation that one passenger's share of the exhaust from a single flight can cancel out a year's worth of Earth-friendly efforts.

And so they are digging out their parents' yellowing Europe-by-rail guidebooks and trading tips on the most convenient night train to Vienna.
WHAT Realization??!! WTF  minusculewtf are you talking about,,,,, Where is the Actual Proof this weather is NOT Normal?

Quote:"Now, when people tell me why they are taking the train, they say two things in the same breath: They say they are fed up with the stress of flying, and they want to cut their carbon footprint," Smith said.

So far, the biggest shift has been in green-conscious Sweden, where airline executives blame increased train travel - up one-third this summer compared with a year ago - for a drop in air passenger traffic.

Yes Air Travel is a Pain In The Ass,,,,,, but that is not a good enough reason to prolong your travel and shorten your vacation time with friends and family.

Ok, Ok, Ok, here is the real deal for this guy,,,,, he is a,,,,, little soft headed as we say in China.

Quote:Hilm, 31, a health-care consultant who was on his way to hike across Austria for eight days, said he tried to live an environmentally responsible life. "I don't drive a car. I eat mostly vegetarian. I live in an apartment, not a big house."
Source to the brain Washed

These people are Brain Washed Zombies!
They don't think for themselves and they believe that THEY are making a Difference with the Climate.

They are not, it is just the Sun and Normal weather changes.

Ship Carrying ‘Climate Change Warriors’ Concerned About Melting Arctic Ice Gets Stuck in Ice
Quote:Ship Carrying ‘Climate Change Warriors’ Concerned About Melting Arctic Ice Gets Stuck in Ice

Oh, the irony.

“Arctic tours ship MS MALMO with 16 passengers on board got stuck in ice on Sep 3 off Longyearbyen, Svalbard Archipelago,” reports the Maritime Bulletin. “The ship is on Arctic tour with Climate Change documentary film team, and tourists, concerned with Climate Change and melting Arctic ice.”

The passengers were safely evacuated by helicopter.
“Something is very wrong with Arctic ice, instead of melting as ordered by UN/IPCC, it captured the ship with Climate Change Warriors,” joked Erofey Schkvarkin.

The story is similar to a 2014 incident when a Chinese icebreaker had to be sent to rescue dozens of global warming researchers and environmentalists who got stranded on a ship which got stuck in the Antarctic ice.

September 19, 2019

The enterprise responsible for Russian seaport and maritime infrastructure development today operates a total of 36 icebreaking vessels. That is the biggest fleet of the kind in the world, the company informs. And more is to come.
According to company Deputy General Director Vasily Strugov, another 9 vessels will be included in the fleet by year 2024.
Among them is a vessel of the project 21900M2. A construction contract on the ship will be signed in the course of this year. The 18MW powerful ship will be a modification of the class of icebreakers today actively applied by the company.
Rosmorport has a fleet of five icebreakers of projects 21900 and 21900M. The newest of the vessels, the «Novorossiisk» was included in the fleet in November 2016.
According to the companyRosmorport, also the «Viktor Chernomyrdin» is soon ready for sailing. The 25 MW vessel will be the most powerful non-nuclear icebreaker in the world. The ship is due to undergo first test sailing in late September this year and ice-testing in the Arctic will take place in spring 2020, Vasily Strugov says.
«This is the most powerful icebreaker that we will have in our fleet and the most powerful in the whole world,» he underlines.

Strugov spoke in a conference on icebreaking vessels earlier this month.
The «Viktor Chernomyrdin» is more than four years behind its original time schedule outlined in the construction contract signed in 2011.
The price for the vessel is believed to be more than 50 percent higher than the original budget. The ship was supposed to cost 7.95 billion rubles (€113 million), but sources in the shipbuilding industry now maintain that the price ultimately will be more than 12 billion (€170)
The «Viktor Chernomyrdin» is Russia’s first vessel of project 22600 (LK-25).
It is not clear whether more LK-25 icebreakers will be built. But Rosmorport will in any case significantly boost its icebreaking capacities. By year 2024, another nine new icebreakers will be built, the company says.

Stop ruining Greta's paradigm, her house is on fire. (Whatever the hell that means)
tinyhuh

Quote:Climate protests: Marches worldwide against global warming

'Millions of people around the world held a global climate strike on Friday, inspired by activist Greta Thunberg.
Protesters across continents waved placards and chanted slogans in what could be the biggest ever demonstration
over global warming caused by humans...'

You mean white men with penises... you always mean white men with penises.

Quote:'..."Our house is on fire", Ms Thunberg said at a rally. "We will not just stand aside and watch."
The day began in the Pacific and Asia and culminated in a massive demonstration in New York.
It comes ahead of a UN summit next week at the organisation's headquarters in Manhattan. Activists
are demanding greater efforts be made at the meeting to tackle climate change...'

(Greta Thunberg -not being steered to do her speech)

And where did Greta do her speech...? India, China...? Why no, New York... because that's where the majority of
brainwashed teens (mainly girls without penises) can ignore their education and enjoy a day in the sun.

Quote:'Ms Thunberg first started skipping school to protest against inaction on climate change in 2018.
Her actions have inspired schoolchildren and adults around the world to take up the fight...'

And the school-dodging students can rest assured that because they're walking the streets around Battery Park,
cutting down trees to make pencils will stop. Thank Greta God that smartphones grow naturally.

(You'll notice the drawn protester in the poster above is named as 'Jane Doe' and has a chin-warming beard.
Yes he's a white male, but he there to protest, not grab a quick feel from some girl who believes he's there for
virtuous reasons than just to pick-up a chick.
No, that's what only white men do)
tinywondering

Quote:'What happened on Friday?
Pacific island nations like Kiribati, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu - all threatened by rising sea levels - kicked off
the strike. Posts online showed citizens chanting: "We are not sinking, we are fighting."...'

I just... can't.
tinysure
Skipping ahead.

Quote:'...What did Greta Thunberg say?
The teenage activist was greeted like a rockstar at the rally on Friday, with chants of "Greta! Greta!" resounding around
New York's Battery Park. "This is the biggest climate strike ever in history, and we all should be so proud of ourselves
because we have done this together," the teenager told demonstrators.

Ms Thunberg said about four million people took part in the strike around the world, "and we're still counting."
"This is an emergency. Our house is on fire. And it's not just the young people's house, we all live here - it affects all of us,"
she told the crowd...'
BBC:

Then they all went for cappuccinos, do selfies and ponder what 'Jane Doe' meant when he said "I'll see you later".

The Sun delivers their version of a Global-Warming 'climate-change' article with their own inimitable style.
Even Richard Branson's daughter joined in!

It is a scam, a play on emotions to acquire control and wealth. The kids like protesting because they've
been convinced to have no sense of self-worth and collecting together for a 'feelz-good' cause brings
a feeling of comradeship, a primeval need in all communal animals.

They're being taken for a ride and why can I say this?
Take a look at this.

Minerals in your mobile phone

The raw materials used in the manufacture of mobile phones come from a variety of minerals.
These and the parts of a mobile phone they are used to make are listed below.

Screen.
The mobile phone screen is made up of indium and tin, which are mainly found in China.
The liquid crystal display (LCD) screen is made of aluminosilicate glass, a mixture of aluminium and silicon.

China is the world’s biggest producer of tin and is also a major importer of the metal used primarily in solder
for electronics. In 2014, China exported 3,000 tonnes with the average tin prize being $23,150 a tonne.
Industry experts note that at the end of 2015, the prizes will climb to $27,000, which will see China rake in
$81 million.

Battery
Lithium, colt and manganese are used to make phone batteries.
The majority of today’s phones use lithium ion batteries. In 2013, global lithium consumption doubled driven largely
by its use in lithium-ion batteries for cell phones and power tools.

The world’s supply of lithium comes from Australia, Chile, China, Tibet and Argentina.
According to the US Geological Survey, Australia in 2014 produced 13,000 tonnes of lithium followed by Chile at 12,900.
In Africa, it’s only Zimbabwe which managed to produce 1,000 tonnes at the privately owned Bikita Minerals raking in
$7 million.

Electrical units
A wide range of elements and compounds are used in the electronics of a phone.
The processor of the phone is made from pure silicon, which is bombarded with elements such as phosphorus, antimony,
arsenic, boron, indium or gallium.

The micro-electrical components and wiring in the phone are composed mainly of copper, gold, and silver.
Congo and Zambia are some of the main exporting countries. In 2013, Congo’s copper output rose to 900,000 tonnes.

The electrical unit also consists of micro-capacitors which use tantalum, platinum and palladium. tantalum and niobium are
extracted from Coltan ores. DRC is the world’s largest producer of Coltan. Rwanda and Uganda also contribute significantly
to Coltan exports in the world. In 2013, Rwanda was the world’s single largest exporter of coltan, exporting 2.4 million tonnes.
This earned it $134.5 million.

Palladium and platinum are other minerals used in the electrical circuits of phones. South Africa and Zimbabwe are some of
the countries that export these minerals. The platinum price in 2014 averaged $1840 per ounce last year with Europe and
China being the main markets for this mineral.

Amplifier, vibrators, receiver
The microphone and speaker of the phone both contain magnets, which are usually made from arsenic and gallium.
South Africa is one of the world’s largest exporters of arsenic minerals.

Gallium is a by-product of mining and processing of aluminium, zinc and copper.
China produces 80 per cent of the world’s used gallium with Japan being the biggest consumer mainly because of its production
of electronics. Gallium has mainly been used in amplifiers for mobile phones integrated circuits and also in LEDs for backlighting
of computers, phones and televisions.

Tungsten also finds use as weights for the vibrating motors within the phone.
China, Russia, Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda are some of the countries that produce these rare mineral.
East Africa produced a combined 710 tonnes of this mineral in 2014.

Minerals such as neodymium are used in magnets, which make speakers vibrate.
China produces more than 90 per cent of the world’s supply of rare-earth minerals and neodymium is one of them.

Casing
Most phone casings are either made of metals or plastic with the latter mainly relying on carbon-based units to make the plastic
covers. Magnesium compounds are one of the minerals in the phone case. Magnesium is mined in China, Brazil, India and the
United States, with China dominating its consumption.

How some of those minerals are extracted.

Now, take a look at this.

Quote:Jennifer Lopez stuns on Milan Fashion Week runway in new version of iconic Versace dress.

'Jennifer Lopez is breaking the internet in a green, jungle-print Versace gown, again.
Nearly 20 years after she wore THAT gown to the 2000 Grammy Awards – solidifying her status as a fashion icon
and the subsequent creation of Google Images – Lopez hit the runway at Milan Fashion Week Friday in a similar
version of the first viral dress ever.

"So this just happened," Lopez captioned a video of her fierce catwalk at Versace's 2020 Spring collection.
She added the hashtags #stillgoingstrong and #20yearanniversary.

The "Hustler" star, 50, closed out the Versace show to much applause in a version of the infamous dress that managed
to show more skin than the daring original. It featured short sleeves and cut outs on the sides to showcase Lopez's
toned abs.

After ripping the runway solo, Lopez joined Donatella Versace for another lap around the star-studded catwalk.
"It’s been fabulous to walk with you tonight," Verace wrote on Instagram.

Lopez called her iconic green Versace gown her "biggest fashion moment ever," revealing on her YouTube channel in
April that the look was pulled together at the last minute and almost didn't happen.

"Usually if you come to a fitting of mine there’s, like, tons of dresses," she said in the video.
"But this day, the day of the Grammys, we really had a choice between two dresses. One was kind of like a white dress
and the other was the Versace jungle-print dress."
She went with the green gown, against her stylist's advice, and made fashion history...'

It's nice to see Obama's cost-free narrative of hope is still being used.
Greta is playing the 'feelz' tune and asking country leaders to listen to her Disney-esque cries of virtue.

Quote:Greta Thunberg: 'Leaders failed us on climate change'.

'Swedish teenage campaigner Greta Thunberg has told a gathering of world leaders they have failed to act on
climate change. "You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words," she told a UN climate
summit in New York.

About 60 world leaders are taking part in the one-day meeting organised by UN Secretary General António
Guterres. He earlier said countries could only speak at the summit if they came with action plans to cut carbon
emissions.

US President Donald Trump, a climate change sceptic, had not been expected at the meeting -but he was seen
in the audience.

What did Greta Thunberg say?
In an emotional speech, she said: "This is all wrong. I shouldn't be up here. I should be back in school on the other
side of the ocean, yet you all come to us young people for hope. How dare you?
"You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words," the 16-year-old said.
And she urged world leaders to act urgently, saying: "We will be watching you."

Scientists' warning
The summit comes days after several million people took part in a global climate strike led by youth activists.
Ahead of the meeting, scientists warned the signs and impacts of global warming were speeding up.

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) said the amount of carbon dioxide going into the atmosphere between
2015 and 2019 had grown by 20% compared with the previous five years.

"We should listen to the loud cry coming from the schoolchildren," said Professor Brian Hoskins, chair of the Grantham
Institute, Imperial College London, and professor of meteorology at the University of Reading.
"There is an emergency - one for action in both rapidly reducing our greenhouse gas emissions towards zero and
adapting to the inevitable changes in climate," he said...'

She's not even old enough to know what her point of view IS! If some alleged grown-up had not come along and told her what it was, she'd still be living her childhood and going to school like normal kids.

But extracting a quote from BIAD's post above:

Quote:What did Greta Thunberg say?
In an emotional speech, she said: "This is all wrong. I shouldn't be up here. I should be back in school on the other
side of the ocean, yet you all come to us young people for hope. How dare you?"

In common with most teenage girls, she seems to be quite the drama queen.

My response to her:

Greta, honey, run along now and go ahead and get back in school on the other side of the ocean, please. Neither I nor anyone I know have looked to you or any other teenager for "hope" - in that, you are sorely mistaken. I stole neither your dreams nor your childhood - they're waiting for you still, on the other side of the ocean, right where you left them. No one has bothered them, because no one wants them. If ANYONE "stole your dreams and childhood with empty words", you need look no further than the dumbasses who wound you up and sent you on this fool's errand! But by all means, watch me! Watch me every chance you get - you might learn something that will help you when you get to your adult life! Run along now, little girl - grownups are talking here...

- End response -

Now, if that picture is this Thunberg child, it's pretty scary looking. If I were a christian, I'd have to admit that the look on her face fairly screams "Satan lives here!". She should have auditioned for the Exorcist, and ought to keep that recommendation in mind in case they do a re-make... they've been doing a lot or re-makes lately in Hollowood, because the town seems to be all out of fresh ideas.

"Hollowood" was not a typo...

Kids these days! They better stay the hell off of my lawn, this Thunberg delinquent included!

Climate scientists write a letter to the UN denying a climate catastrophe emergency, but it's ignored. The globalists continue to push their fear porn agenda.  It's how they get donations to flood into their pockets from the unsuspecting masses.

Quote:A group of 500 esteemed scientists and professionals in climate science have officially notified the United Nations that there is no climate crisis and that spending trillions on a non-problem is ‘cruel and imprudent’.

This letter will not make it into national or global media, nor will it cause the UN to change its ways. If these same scientists understood Technocracy, they would change their battle strategy. ⁃ TN Editor

It won't make it to the national or global media?  Well, that's why RN is here, to make sure it's spread far and wide!

Sr. António Guterres, Secretary-General, United Nations,
United Nations Headquarters,
New York, NY 10017, United States of America.
Ms. Patricia Espinosa Cantellano, Executive Secretary,
United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change,
UNFCCC Secretariat, UN Campus, Platz der Vereinten Nationen 1,
53113 Bonn, Germany

Your Excellencies,

There is no climate emergency.
A global network of more than 500 knowledgeable and experienced scientists and professionals in climate and related fields have the honor to address to Your Excellencies the attached European Climate Declaration, for which the signatories to this letter are the national ambassadors.

The general-circulation models of climate on which international policy is at present founded are unfit for their purpose. Therefore, it is cruel as well as imprudent to advocate the squandering of trillions on the basis of results from such immature models. Current climate policies pointlessly, grievously undermine the economic system, putting lives at risk in countries denied access to affordable, continuous electrical power.

We urge you to follow a climate policy based on sound science, realistic economics and genuine concern for those harmed by costly but unnecessary attempts at mitigation.

We ask you to place the Declaration on the agenda of your imminent New York session.
We also invite you to organize with us a constructive high-level meeting between world-class scientists on both sides of the climate debate early in 2020. The meeting will give effect to the sound and ancient principle no less of sound science than of natural justice that both sides should be fully and fairly heard. Audiatur et altera pars!
Please let us know your thoughts about such a joint meeting.

Yours sincerely, ambassadors of the European Climate Declaration,

There is no climate emergency

A global network of 500 scientists and professionals has prepared this urgent message. Climate science should be less political, while climate polities should be more scientific. Scientists should openly address the uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately count the real benefits as well as the imagined costs of adaptation to global warming, and the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of mitigation.

Natural as well as anthropogenic factors cause warming

The geological archive reveals that Earth’s climate has varied as long as the planet has existed, with natural cold and warm phases. The Little Ice Age ended as recently as 1850. Therefore, it is no surprise that we now are experiencing a period of warming.

Warming is far slower than predicted

The world has warmed at less than half the originally-predicted rate, and at less than half the rate to be expected on the basis of net anthropogenic forcing and radiative imbalance. It tells us that we are far from understanding climate change.

Climate policy relies on inadequate models

Climate models have many shortcomings and are not remotely plausible as policy tools. Moreover, they most likely exaggerate the effect of greenhouse gases such as CO2. In addition, they ignore the fact that enriching the atmosphere with CO2 is beneficial.

CO2 is plant food, the basis of all life on Earth

CO2 is not a pollutant. It is essential to all life on Earth. Photosynthesis is a blessing. More CO2 is beneficial for nature, greening the Earth: additional CO2 in the air has promoted growth in global plant biomass. It is also good for agriculture, increasing the yields of crop worldwide.

Global warming has not increased natural disasters

There is no statistical evidence that global warming is intensifying hurricanes, floods, droughts and suchlike natural disasters, or making them more frequent. However, CO2-mitigation measures are as damaging as they are costly. For instance, wind turbines kill birds and bats, and palm-oil plantations destroy the biodiversity of the rainforests.

Policy must respect scientific and economic realities

There is no climate emergency. Therefore, there is no cause for panic and alarm. We strongly oppose the harmful and unrealistic net-zero CO2 policy proposed for 2050. If better approaches emerge, and they certainly will, we have ample time to reflect and adapt. The aim of international policy should be to provide reliable and affordable energy at all times, and throughout the world.

People need to share this letter with the youth to keep them from freaking out and thinking they are about to die, thanks to AOC and all the liars in politics.

Will you do that?

Yeah and her prompted over-the-top acting shows how vacant she is on this supposed 'catastrophic' subject!

It must truly suck to attempt to stare someone down with such a fierce look, and have them utterly fail to notice you at all.

I got curious, and searched out the video of her speech at the UN. On the face of it, it was horrifying... but as we shall see, "the face of it" does not really show what is under the surface.

Now, in all honesty, I was utterly prepared to light this youngster's drama display all up... I don't care who is watching me, I don't care who blames me, and I haven't asked anyone's permission nor forgiveness for anything... and I don't even care who calls me "evil", because they're probably not  wrong - and I don't care about that, either. BUT - I figured that there had to be something wrong with this child, so I set about researching to find out what.

I found the following explanation of what her mental issues are, written as a series of tweets by a parent (going by the handle of "(((Road Bear Life)))" ) with a child having the same issues:

Quote:I was not going to do this as I do not like too personal information on the internet, but the latest Greta Thunberg video is too impactful. I do not care what one believes about the climate, but I do care that people understand what is happening with this young lady. 1/

I have a child with high functioning autism (aka Aspregers). Not every person with this syndrome experiences all of the resultant effects, and the effects vary by degree. Sometimes you cannot tell if a person has Aspregers at first blush, but it will eventually emerge. 2/

Two common characteristics that seem to follow in all cases are "literalism" and "rigidity" of thought. Also, hyperfocus on narrow topics is common. Aspregers was known as the "little professors" disease, because Aspregers kids could become experts in narrow topics. 3/

The expertise is not a creative expertise but a rote one. Causation and emotional understanding are difficult for Aspregers sufferers, especially children. Aspergers suffers also are very strict adherents to "the rules" once established in their heads. This ties to rigidity. 4/

If an Aspregers sufferer establishes a set of "facts" in their minds, it is very fixed. It is so fixed that even contrary facts presented to them are rejected in favor of the previously established "facts." If the counter-information continues, the sufferer becomes frustrated. /5

The frustration turns to hurt and anger, because of the literalism, rigidity, and the way their minds attach to rules and items they have already establish as concrete. The concrete fact is often the first "fact" on the subject they hear. /6

Now imagine a person with these predisposed inclinations hearing for the first time 1) the earth is atmosphere is heating at an incredible pace; 2) humans are causing this rapid heating; and 3) the whole planet is going to die if it is not fixed in 12 years. /7

These three items, for a person not on the spectrum can be weighed, evaluated, and put into perspective. Contrary points can be reviewed and expectations adjusted. For an Aspregers sufferer, this is not easily, if at all achieved. The anxiety compounds. /8

You have both the anxiety of being told you are going to die, coupled with the anxiety and frustration of having contra-facts butting against your established "facts" and literal implications. Parents of children with Aspregers struggle against this convergence every day. /9

How does one teach perspective and thought flexibility to a person whose mind demands literalism and structured "facts" (this is why some Spectrum people are great coders)? The answer is patiently doing so. Demonstrating the safety of exceptions to rules, and alternatives./10

When I see Ms. Thunberg, I see all 9f the frustration of my child, with none of the attempts at perspective and flexibility of thought. In some ways Spectrum people appear robotic because of their rigid mindset, but they are not. The are frustrated, and hurt, and angry. 11/

For a person like me, seeing her rigidity makes me unhappy. However, seeing her frustration and tears at the UN makes me angry. Those pushing her into the spotlight on these issues deserve shame. She is not a robot. Her beliefs are tainted by the Spectrum that frames them. /12

She is being compelled into corners her mind has difficulty navigating, and does nothing but feed her fears (of literal death), and frustration that her mind's eye does not square with the messy, grey, emotional world. Apregers sufferers must learn to navigate these areas. /13

These areas are instinctive for those of us not on the Spectrum. No matter where you are on this issue, remember Ms. Thunberg's view is not your view. Someone should be helping her navigate her rigidity and anxiety, not using it as an "automatia" prop. /14

I know nothing of Swedish law, but they apparently have no laws against child abuse, because this clearly is - what they have done to this child, yet no one is in prison for it.

So instead of lighting her up, I feel only pity for this young-un, and pledge to thoroughly bitch-slap the very next Leftist who has the temerity to say "but it's for the children!" in front of me. It is painfully clear it is NOT "for the children" if they have no compunctions against doing this to a child and them weaponizing her. The are NO better than the African war lords putting a AK with six bullets in it in the hands of a 10 year old boy, pointing him at the "enemy", and telling him to "go get 'em!'

Utter bastards, the lot of 'em. Hangin' is too good for 'em.
