When elites decide to be Green.
#1
Yes,  when elites decide to be green the little people suffer and California is the State Famous for Catering to the Elites and Illegale while the State FUCKS in average Real Citizen.
Here is the newest example of Liberal Stupidity.
Quote:Daniel Turner: California's latest descent into liberal madness – Berkeley bans natural gas

That's right, no more natural gas stove, heaters, fire places even outdoor grills.
This is So Very Ignorant, natural gas burns very clean and from what this article says, new restaurants will not be allowed to use gas stove or ovens, just electric.
So,,,,,,,, California gets most of it electric from Arizona and Utah and most by burning coal I think.

Quote:From sanctuary cities to brutally high taxes, California is the undisputed center of gravity for today’s far-left.

If you want to see how liberal policies would look on a national level, you don’t have to imagine it. You can just look at the thousands fleeing the once-great state.

In the latest chapter of California’s descent into liberal madness, the city of Berkeley – a hotbed of radical liberalism – became the first city in America to ban natural gas from new homes and businesses, including restaurants that use natural gas for stoves.

Environmentalists
are reportedly hailing this development as a major victory, and it might not be an isolated incident. More than 50 other cities in California are considering following Berkeley’s lead.

While it’s unsurprising that Berkeley – a city that’s already banned plastic straws – would ban natural gas, that’s little consolation to the citizens who have not yet fled.
I think it was California that lead the way in the 70's on Banning Paper Sack for Grocery stores. They went to plastic bags, now look at the environmental mess that made. tinysure
Stupid Bastards.

Quote:The logic behind the Berkeley ban seems to be this: we can help the planet and reduce carbon emissions by eliminating natural gas and switching to electric heating and cooking.

This is completely warped: the electric grid is powered predominantly by fossil fuels. The state prides itself on having very little coal, but it imports electricity from neighboring states like Utah and Arizona where it is generated by coal.

Somehow displacing the emissions from California to another state, and charging the taxpayers more, fulfills the criteria for being "green."

That's right,,,,,charge the taxpayers More, give them Less and demand other States produce their Power and Create Emissions.

Quote:Berkeley’s natural gas ban adds to the ever-increasing cost of homeownership in California, which has already been stressed by eco-demands.

The state is mandating that, beginning next year, every new home must be fitted with solar panels, raising the cost of a new home by $10,000. Higher home prices, higher electric bills, fewer choices – that’s the future Californians are being promised by their government.

It’s no wonder families are fleeing the state, and that California is led only by New York in out-migration.

Just look to our friends in Europe to see how damaging eco-policies can be. Citizens of Germany and Denmark, for instance, face electric rates around three times that of America.
Stupidity, California's MOTTO

People are leaving that state because of the taxes and Mexican being the Official Language, the problem with that is, they are moving and corrupting other states with their liberal ideas.

In common with illegal immigrants, Californians seem to want to change wherever they go to the same sort of third-world shithole they came from. Birds of a feather...

New Yorkers are the same way. They've already nearly destroyed Florida - the only thing stopping them are the Cubans fleeing Castro's regime. When I left NC, there was an endemic infestation of New Yorkers occurring there, too. The whole state may have become The Bronx South by now.

I wonder if Californians and New Yorkers are really just running an evil plot to change demographics in target areas just enough to gain more Socialist electoral votes for their Masters?

Said Aristippus, ‘If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.’ Said Diogenes, ‘Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.’

Not while I yet draw breath.

Regardless of what else is going on in my little world, I spent too long fighting Socialism to give in in my old age. Grace feels the same.

As long as I draw breath, there will be defiance against their agenda. What shape that defiance takes is entirely up to them, as I have become seriously reactionary in my old age, since I can no longer be pro-active.

So as long as I am breathing, they will have adversity. The most they can do is kill me, but they will never defeat me while I still breathe. If they have to kill me to win, from my perspective they have lost.

They will NEVER win, even when they think they have.

Quote:Rich and famous flock to Google Camp on ‘climate change’ using hundreds of private jets.

'PALERMO, Italy, July 31, 2019 (LifeSiteNews)
A-list celebrities, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Barack Obama, and various media personalities,
are flying or cruising to Sicily to gather at a luxury resort to discuss climate change.

Guests were invited personally by Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the New York Post reported.
The Google founders also invited their rival, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook.

The three-day mega-party will cost Google a reported $20 million to bring together jetsetter trendsetters who,
according to Italian media, will come in as many as 114 private jet planes.

As of Sunday, 40 had arrived already. According to the New York Post, 114 flights from Los Angeles to Palermo would
add about 100,000 kilograms of carbon dioxide into the air. It has not been reported whether the celebrity guests will
discuss their own effects on alleged climate change.

The relatively small amounts of carbon dioxide released by human activity -small when compared with natural occurring
carbon producers, such as active volcanoes -has been blamed for changes in the climate, including global climate warming.

Guests in the past have been entertained with performances by fellow A-listers such as Elton John, Chris Martin, and
Gordon Sumner a.k.a. Sting. This year, a performance will be staged at the ruins of an ancient Greek temple, which is a
UNESCO World Heritage site. This year marks the fourth Google Camp.

Fashion mogul Diane von Furstenberg and husband Barry Diller, a billionaire media developer, embarked to the party on
the 300-foot Eos, one of the largest sailing yachts in the world. The Eos features two 2,300-horsepower CO2-spewing
diesel engines.

David Geffen, the billionaire who founded Dreamworks, gave singer Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom a lift on his $400
million yacht, Rising Sun. Diller’s yacht is valued at a mere $150 million. The mega-yacht Andromeda, which was once owned
by New Zealand billionaire Graeme Hart, is also on hand.
CEO Eric Schmidt of Harbor Freight Tools reportedly brought his 240+ foot yacht, Intrepid.

Guests will stay at the luxurious Verdura Resort. While guests will pay their own way to the event, Google will pick up the tab
for everything else at the garden spot. The nightly cost of rooms start at about $1,000, according to reports.
A source told the New York Post that the purpose of the event is for “influential people to get together to discuss how to make
the world better.”

Some of the guests were seen driving in Sicily in exotic sports cars. Perry was seen in a Maserati that manages to get 15 mpg
in city driving.

For his part, Prince Harry told primatologist Jane Goodall in an edition of British Vogue edited by his wife, Meghan Markle, that he
plans to have a maximum of two children. Expressing fears over global warming, the prince told Goodall: "What we need to remind
everybody is: these are things that are happening now. We are already living in it. We are the frog in the water and it's already been
brought to the boil. Which is terrifying."
When he said that he had always wanted children, Goodall said, "Not too many." The former army officer answered, "Two, maximum."

The controversy over global climate change within academic and media circles continues. However, retired NOAA scientist Rex
Fleming Ph.D told interviewer James Delingpole in a podcast that he has joined former United Nations and U.S. government
scientists who dissent from the theory of man-made climate change.

"CO2 has no impact on climate change," Fleming said. "Past climates have been warm and cold and warm and cold with no changes
in carbon dioxide. How can that be a cause when there's no correlation."

In addition, he said several American scientific organizations will not support any scientist who casts doubt on the theory of man-made
climate change. He told Delingpole that he had to go to Europe to publish a peer-reviewed article on the subject...'

Looks like California is going even further Green.
Quote:California Considers Statewide Ban On Gas-Powered Garden Tools
 Yes this is STUPID!
Have they even considered the the extra power draw from their electric company to power the electric version of the power tool, Damn I forgot, they have Battery powered tools.
OK, they need to keep the batteries charge and then, are they going to dispose of those Lithium Batteries Correctly or just throw in the trash?

Quote:SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — If you have any gas-powered gardening tools, you may be forced to give them up soon.
California is considering a statewide ban on the equipment.

Now let me ask you,Hollywood and Silicon Valley Elitist, will Juan, Hernandez, Gonzaleas, Gomez, Jesus and your other Gardeners in Your Gated HOA Communities be using Battery operated gardening tools? Lawnmowers, edge trimmers, weed wackers and leaf blowers just to name a few.
So, that is,,,,, maybe 15 to 20 guys that don't really speak English running a gardening tool for hour and having to change out batteries,,,, Hmmmmm, you think those batteries are just charging by themselves?
I think they are going to need a large generator with numerous battery chargers plugged in and that generator running.
Do you think that is polluting your air?

Quote:At least 60 cities in California have some kind of ban on gas-powered garden tools, but now state regulators are concerned about the impacts these tools could be having on the environment.

According to the California Air Resources Board, running a gas-powered lawnmower for an hour will produce the same amount of air pollution as a Toyota Camry driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.

There are millions more small off-road engines (i.e.: gas-powered lawnmowers and leaf blowers) in California than there are light-duty passenger cars, according to the board’s estimates.

The board has set a goal of reducing smog from these machines by 80 percent by 2031.

YOU people are Mental Fucking Midgets if you believe this BULLSHIT!
I can run my lawnmower for an hour and cut my grass and not use 1/8 or 1/4 of a gallon of gas.
That must be ONE FUCKED Up Lawnmower they used or they hired Al Gore or his Scientist.
Will golf courses get an exemption? How do you mow countless acres of grass weekly via battery packs? Palm Springs Ca. area has over 140 courses in a 60 square miles I read.

I have a question,,,,, How are you going to cut the grass?
You cannot use goats. The Hispanics are eating them and the Muslims are having sex with them.

It's ok - they can all get diesel generators to run their electric tools on during the inevitable power brownouts from all that battery charging!
