The Spygate Scandal

John Solomon breaks down the IG Report. He found 51 violations and 9 false statements.

Quote:To understand just how shoddy the FBI’s work was in securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant targeting the Trump campaign, you only need to read an obscure attachment to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report.

Appendix 1 identifies the total violations by the FBI of the so-called Woods Procedures, the process by which the bureau verifies information and assures the FISA court its evidence is true.

The Appendix identifies a total of 51 Woods procedure violations from the FISA application the FBI submitted to the court authorizing surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page starting in October 2016.
A whopping nine of those violations fell into the category called: “Supporting document shows that the factual assertion is inaccurate.”

For those who don’t speak IG parlance, it means the FBI made nine false assertions to the FISA court. In short, what the bureau said was contradicted by the evidence in its official file.

To put that in perspective, former Trump aides Mike Flynn and George Papadopoulos were convicted of making single false statements to the bureau. One went to jail already, and the other awaits sentencing.
The FBI made nine false statements to the court.

And the appendix shows the FBI made another nine factual assertions that did not match the supporting evidence in the file. In another words, the bureau was misleading on nine other occasions.

The vast majority of remaining Woods violations — 33 in total — involved failing to provide any evidence in the Woods procedure backing up assertion in the FISA warrant application.

That’s serious too since the sole purpose of the Wood procedures is to ensure all evidence cited in a FISA application is documented as accurate and reliable so it can be trusted by the courts.

Just how bad was the FBI’s Russia FISA? 51 violations and 9 false statements

Spent my day watching the IG Horowitz testimony.

This is the longest coverage I could find, but it was longer than just 4 hours.  And, of course, no other media was covering it other than Fox. The other channels didn't have a problem covering the sham impeachment hearings though!

Looks like Kevin Clinesmith is in deep do-do.  The FISA court has ordered every case he's been involved with to be investigated.

Quote:The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court ordered a review of all Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act filings handled by Kevin Clinesmith, the FBI lawyer who altered a key document about Trump campaign associate Carter Page.

The FISA court confirmed Clinesmith had been referred to the Justide Department for a possible criminal investigation. Judge Rosemary Collyer, who leads the FISA court, ordered the DOJ to bring it up to speed on everything it had learned about Clinesmith’s conduct and to explain why there was a delay between the conclusion of Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s investigation and the court being told what misconduct had been unearthed.

Specifically, the FISA court ordered the DOJ to “identify all other matters currently or previously before this court that involved the participation” of Clinesmith. The court also ordered the DOJ to “describe any steps taken or to be taken by the Department of Justice or FBI to verify that the United States's submissions in those matters completely and fully described the material facts and circumstances,” unlike the Page FISA filings. Third, court ordered the DOJ to “advise whether the conduct” of Clinesmith has been “referred to the appropriate bar associations for investigation or possible disciplinary action.”

Clinesmith is the one who changed the wording on the FISA application to state that Carter Page WAS NOT working with a foreign intelligence agent for the U.S., when he knew he was. He did this so the courts would approve the FISA to spy on him, and in turn, they could learn what the Trump campaign was doing.
The dirty democrats working for Killary just about ruined this man's life so they could spy on Trump...
KNOWINGLY!

Quote:Several months before its first FISA filing against Page, the FBI was informed Page had been a source of information for the CIA in the past, a fact the bureau failed to include in its initial filing or any of its renewals. A liaison from the CIA reminded Clinesmith, who was a part of the team reviewing the Page FISA filings, about Page’s previous relationship with the agency. But instead of accurately informing the FBI supervisory special agent so that the FISA court could be properly informed, Clinesmith altered the email to falsely state that Page was “not a source.”

Rudy Giuliani reveals what he discovered on Ukraine trip, alleging U.S. embassy would not stop a corruption scheme funneling money to George Soros - and says he's told all to Donald Trump

Quote:
  • Rudy Giuliani claimed he discovered in Ukraine trip details about how the the U.S. Embassy 'quashed' efforts by Kiev to end a corruption investigation

  • Claims Embassy - led by then-Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch - squashed probe because money was going to NGO run by billionaire George Soros

  • Giuliani has targeted Soros before and blamed him for funding an unproven allegation Ukraine - and not Russia - interfered in 2016 election

  • Giuliani offered no proof of his new allegations

  • But said: 'I have notified the president' of them

  • He unleashed his latest allegations in podcast interview with Charlie Kirk

  • DailyMail.com obtained audio of podcast, which will be posted online Monday

So now Giuliani has some documented proof that Soros was in on disrupting our elections and causing upheaval in the streets.  I hope by him pointing to this that it means some kind of action will be taken against him.  I don't think banning him from our country will do any good; he'll just tell his puppets to do it for him. He needs to be arrested.
We'll see what happens.

Looks like the judge that signed the FISA application for the FBI to spy on certain people in the Trump Campaign will be stepping down earlier than anticipated.
Hmmm...   Imagine that!
Well, she got off easy, only losing her job. I wonder if she'll get to keep her pension?
I don't really have bad feelings towards her, because the documents she approved were supposed to be vetted already. Now, if she knew they weren't true, then that would be an entirely different story! Did she know? Was she a part of the Deep State creatures as well?

From what I hear, all the people who signed the FISA application are also in BIG trouble and will probably go to jail.
Merry Christmas to the U.S.A.!

Quote:WASHINGTON — A secretive court that oversees national security surveillance has taken a step toward addressing dysfunction in the system detailed in a recent inspector general report, ordering the Justice Department to identify all cases that an F.B.I. lawyer heavily criticized in the report has worked on, according to an order made public on Friday.

Separately, the court announced that its presiding judge, Rosemary M. Collyer, is stepping down nine weeks earlier than planned for health reasons. Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. of the Supreme Court has selected Judge James E. Boasberg to succeed her in that role in the new year. He will be the first judge appointed by a Democrat to lead the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court since 1995.

The developments underscored that the court has entered a period of turmoil and change after the report this month by the Justice Department inspector general that uncovered damning inaccuracies and omissions in applications to wiretap a former Trump campaign adviser, Carter Page.

The report has raised questions about the system by which the F.B.I. obtains wiretap orders and search warrants targeting suspected spies and terrorists under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA. The Justice Department must convince a judge on the FISA court that the target is probably an agent of a foreign power, and it is supposed to disclose any exculpatory information — not just facts that make the target look suspicious.

But the inspector general, Michael E. Horowitz, found that the F.B.I. cherry-picked and misstated the evidence about Mr. Page. Among the problems was that the law enforcement officials presented his long history of meeting with Russian intelligence officials but did not tell the FISA court that Mr. Page had sometimes told the C.I.A. about those meetings.

One of Mr. Horowitz’s most serious findings was that during the period when the Justice Department was preparing to seek its third renewal of the Page wiretap order in 2017, a lower-level F.B.I. lawyer assigned to assist the Russia investigation team, Kevin Clinesmith, misled a colleague by altering an email from the C.I.A. about its relationship with him.

Mr. Horowitz has referred his findings about Mr. Clinesmith, who has resigned from the F.B.I., to prosecutors. The Justice Department also informed the FISA court about the issue in classified filings in October and November, according to a newly declassified order. But the order, issued Dec. 5 and made public on Friday, indicated that the court wants more action.

Judge Collyer, as the presiding judge on the 11-member court, ordered the department to identify any other FISA applications that Mr. Clinesmith may have worked on. If there are any others, she said, the department or F.B.I. must explain what steps it would take to ensure every fact in them was accurate.

Judge Collyer also asked whether the Justice Department was referring the matter to Mr. Clinesmith’s bar association for potential disciplinary action, like losing his license. (He was not named in the inspector general report or in the newly declassified order, which is partly redacted, but people familiar with the Russia inquiry have identified him.)

A spokesman for the Justice Department, which had until Friday to respond, declined to comment. A lawyer for Mr. Clinesmith did not immediate respond to a request for comment.

It appears Rudy Giuliani is going to take matters into his own hands and start releasing the information he has gathered during his investigations, because the sick main stream media won't. They are owned by the Deep State; it goes against their narrative.

Drip, drip...

Quote:In a declassified Jan. 7, 2020, order released by Presiding FISA Court Judge James Boasberg, it was revealed that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has determined that two of the four FISA applications on former Trump 2016 presidential campaign adviser Carter Page were “not valid.”

The court wrote that it had received notice of “material misstatements and omissions” in the FISA applications made on Page, apparently with respect to the final two FISA renewals. The court also noted that the DOJ had made the assessment that with regard to these two applications, “there was insufficient predication to establish probable cause to believe that [Carter] Page was acting as an agent of a foreign power.”

Surveillance of American citizens is supposed to be tightly controlled by FISA law and probable cause that one is acting “as an agent of a foreign power” is a prerequisite for a Title I FISA application such as the one Page found himself subject to.
The order noted that the “FBI has agreed to sequester all collection the FBI acquired pursuant to the Court’s authorizations” of the two now-invalid FISAs “pending further review of the OIG Report and the outcome of related investigations and any litigation.”

The order also notes that while the DOJ has not yet made a determination on the validity of the first two FISA applications, the DOJ intends to have the FBI sequester information relating to those first two orders “in the same manner as information acquired” in the final two renewals that have now been determined to be invalid.

The order by Boasberg closed with a series of demands for disclosure regarding the manner in which the government will be handling the information collected under the now-invalid Carter Page FISAs, along with updates on any ongoing investigations.

Typically, FISA renewals would be expected to be backed up by additional information and details, and would therefore build upon and make a stronger case than the original application. The fact that this does not appear to be the case calls into question the ongoing validity of the original FISA and the first renewal as well.

The finding by the DOJ that the final two Page FISA renewals were “not valid” appears to stem from the recent report by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, which identified “at least 17 significant errors or omissions in the Page FISA applications, and many additional errors in the Woods Procedures. These errors and omissions resulted from case agents providing wrong or incomplete information to the OI (Office of Intelligence) and failing to flag important issues for discussion.”

FBI’s Russia collusion case fell apart in first month of Trump presidency, memos show

Quote:Flynn collusion ruled out, Steele dossier debunked in January 2017, more than two years before Mueller announced it.

The piecemeal release of FBI files in the Russia collusion investigation has masked an essential fact: James Comey’s G-men had substantially debunked the theory that Donald Trump’s campaign conspired with Moscow by the time the 45th president was settling into the Oval Office, according to declassified memos, court filings and interviews.

And that means a nascent presidency and an entire nation were put through two more years of lacerating debate over an issue that was mostly resolved in January 2017 inside the bureau’s own evidence files. The proof is now sitting in plain view.

What do you think about that Lefties?  Your "leaders" lied to you and kept you brainwashed for two years. They turned you against our great POTUS and the good he wanted to do for our country because his agenda didn't agree with their One World Government goal.
I hope you (lefties) can open your eyes long enough to look at the PROOF, and realize that they continue to lie to you.

Quote:In rapid fire sequence in January 2017, U.S. officials:
  • received multiple warnings about the credibility of informant Christopher Steele and his dossier;
  • affirmed key targets of the FBI counterintelligence investigation made exculpatory statements denying collusion to undercover sources;
  • concluded retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, Trump's first national security adviser, was not engaged in collusion with the Russians.

The latter revelation has mostly escaped much notice, contained in a single sentence in a once-sealed court motion filed by Flynn defense attorney Sidney Powell that requested what is known as Brady material, or evidence of innocence.

That motion dated Sept. 11, 2019 requested access to “an internal DOJ document dated January 30, 2017, in which the FBI exonerated Mr. Flynn of being ‘an agent of Russia.’”

Less than two weeks into Trump’s presidency the FBI had concluded his national security adviser had not been working as an agent of Russia. While that was the view of federal law enforcement, the false storyline of Flynn as a Russian stooge was broadcasted across the nation, with leaks of his conversations with a Russian ambassador and other tales, for many more months.

There is lots more to this report, plus documents, and a video where John Solomon speaks about this.

"The declassified sections from Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s December review of FBI FISA abuse could be made available to key Senate and House committees as early as the end of this week."

That would be today.  Is this going to be the BOOM for 4/10/20?

Russia case footnotes to be declassified, exposing FBI concerns about Steele disinformation.

Quote:Previously redacted footnotes from Inspector General Michael Horowitz's report expected to raise questions about prior FBI assessment of key informant.

U.S. intelligence has decided to declassify several redacted footnotes from a recent Justice Department report that will expose more problems with the FBI’s investigation into President Trump’s campaign, including that agents possessed evidence their main informant may have been the victim of Russian disinformation, Just the News has learned.
The previously redacted footnotes are likely to raise new concerns that the FBI ignored flashing red warning signals about the informant Christopher Steele and gave a false picture in briefing materials supplied to Congress.
The declassified sections from Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s December review of FBI FISA abuse could be made available to key Senate and House committees as early as the end of this week, according to people familiar with the effort.

The unredacted footnotes are expected to provide new data points in the timeline showing when the FBI learned, or should have suspected, that its key evidence suggesting Trump was colluding with Russia was erroneous and how high up those concerns were known, the sources said.

The new information “will make clear the FBI possessed information at multiple levels that undercut the evidence it was using to sustain a collusion investigation” and will be specific enough to renew a debate in Washington over “whether the FBI intentionally ignored red flags or simply was blinded by ambition from seeing them clearly,” one source with direct knowledge said.

The evidence could also raise new questions about whether statements made to Congress during the Russia probe were false or misleading, and whether the intelligence community’s official assessment that Vladimir Putin was solely trying to help elect Trump was contradicted by some evidence in FBI files, the sources said.

The declassification was prompted in part by a letter sent in January by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., that requested four footnotes from the Horowitz report be declassified.

Grassley and Johnson are two strong allies of Trump who played a key role in debunking the false collusion allegations the FBI investigated. Johnson's investigators flagged the redacted passages during a review of the Horowitz report and worked with Grassley's team to escalate to Attorney General William Barr.

“We are concerned that certain sections of the public version of the report are misleading because they are contradicted by relevant and probative classified information redacted in four footnotes,” Grassley and Johnson wrote Barr. “This classified information is significant not only because it contradicts key statements in a section of the report, but also because it provides insight essential for an accurate evaluation of the entire investigation.”

Quote:According to former US Attorney Joe diGenova, current US Attorney John Durham started bringing in witnesses under oath in front of a grand jury.  And according to Joe, the key focus of the Durham investigation is currently John Brennan.

Looks like someone is in trouble. Look at that man; the face only a mother could love.   tinylaughing

Quote:Former US Attorney Joe diGenova was on the Howie Carr Show.  After Carr shared that the Wall Street Journal reported that the Durham investigation was still ongoing, diGenova shared the following about what he knew about the John Durham investigation:

Quote:One of the more interesting revelations is what I have confirmed with my sources, is that John Brennan is in fact the focus, the main focus of the investigation.  And, a number of former intelligence officers have been interviewed and apparently testified about a series of questions involving the production of the famous assessment done after the election which of course was a phony assessment.
It was a constructed document.  It was not in fact an assessment of anything and that is very interesting because they are looking at what Brennan did and what he asked other people to do in terms of that and some other things as well.  So apparently Mr. Durham has not been deterred by the virus.

After Carr reminded the listeners what assessment diGenova was speaking about, diGenova said this:

They [Durham and his team] are clearly looking at abuse of power.  In other words, were the resources of the CIA illegally used to undertake domestic terrorist investigations?  Were the resources of the CIA used to illegally create a plot to either falsely lead FBI officials into a scheme or to conspire with FBI officials to deny certain people their civil rights.

An additional 11 pages of FBI documents were unsealed yesterday by Judge Emmet Sullivan. The best thing shown in these is that President Obama was implicated.
Those of us who have been reading all the information by the Anon researchers already knew this, but it's nice for the general public to see the truth... finally!

Quote:This afternoon Judge Emmet Sullivan unsealed an additional 11-pages of documents showing more background information about how the FBI was targeting former National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn.  [Court pdf Here]  Also embedded below.

The release today is even more revealing than the handwritten notes released last night; and specifically President Obama’s “by the book” statement on January 5, 2017, takes on an entirely new light.  They may not realize it yet, but this release implicates Obama.

Lot's of revelations coming to light regarding Obummer lately. This makes me wonder if he will be one of the first to be arrested? Are they trying to get the public ready to accept it?

People keep saying he will never be brought to justice, so is ruining his reputation all that will be done?
If there was EVER any justice in this world, he should be the first to be sent to GITMO. What happens after that, I don't care.

(L-R) Peter Strzok, James Comey, President Obama, Andrew McCabe and Bill Priestap

Quote:Within the release we discover an “Electronic Communication” or “EC” from the Washington FBI field office recommending to close the FBI investigation of General Flynn on January 4, 2017, due to “no derogatory information.” However, FBI Agent Peter Strzok immediately responds to the FBI team [main headquarters] saying: “don’t do it yet’… and the plot unfolds.

There are FBI codenames within the release that need some explanation prior to review:
  • Crossfire Hurricane (CH) is the overall investigation that began in July 2016
  • Crossfire Typhoon (CT) is George Papadopoulos.
  • Crossfire Razor (CR) is Michael Flynn.
  • Cross Wind is still unknown. [Could be a person, or a subset of the case]

Quote:A big development in the fight over 53 secret interviews the House Intelligence Committee conducted during its Trump-Russia investigation. Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell has sent a letter to chairman Adam Schiff notifying him that transcripts of all 53 interviews, over 6,000 pages in all, have been cleared for public release. "All of the transcripts, with our required redactions, can be released to the public without any concerns of disclosing classified material," Grenell wrote to Schiff in a letter dated May 4.

Uh Oh, looks like Schiffty might be shitting his pants right about now.   tinylaughing

Quote:The Intel Committee did the first probe into Russia's 2016 campaign interference and allegations of Trump-Russia collusion. Even today, its findings make up most of what we know about the affair. As part of that investigation -- it was run by then-majority Republicans -- the committee interviewed some key witnesses in the Trump-Russia matter: Donald Trump Jr., Steve Bannon, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Michael Cohen, Hope Hicks, and many more.
[Image: ?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmediadc.brightspotcdn...281%29.png][Image: ?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmediadc.brightspotcdn...2%20PM.png]

Look at all those people!  tinyhuh This is going to be interesting.

Quote:The interviews were conducted in secret. But by September 2018, with the committee's report long finished and made public, the Republicans who still controlled the committee decided the interview transcripts should be released to the public. In a rare moment of comity, Democrats agreed, and on September 26, 2018, the committee voted unanimously to release the transcripts. But there was a catch: The documents would have to first be checked for classified information by the Intelligence Community. So off they went to the IC -- never to be seen again.

Now, in May 2020, they're still secret. Two weeks ago, the Wall Street Journal editorial board reported that the IC had finished its review of 43 of the transcripts, but Schiff was refusing to release them. The paper said Schiff was also preventing declassification of the remaining ten transcripts.

Schiff was refusing to release them?  I wonder why?
Could it be there was some damming evidence against him included?

Quote:In the letter, Grenell revealed that the 43 transcripts have been finished since June 2019. Schiff has been sitting on them all that time. Grenell said the final ten have just been finished as well. "I urge you to honor your previous public statements, and your committee's unanimous vote on this matter, to release all 53 cleared transcripts to Members of Congress and the American public as soon as possible," Grenell said. Just in case Schiff is still not interested, Grenell added, "I am also willing to release the transcripts directly from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, as to ensure we comply with the unanimous and bipartisan vote to release the transcripts."

Hopefully, we're about to see these transcripts.  I hope they aren't so redacted that we can't make any sense from them.

More information is coming how to show how government officials were threatened if they provided any exculpatory evidence or information that went against their narrative during the Mueller probe. These are the real criminals! Justice is, hopefully, about to rain down upon their evil heads.

Quote:Within an interesting interview conducted by Jan Jekielek of Epoch Times, former AAG Matt Whitaker confirms what CTH long suspected. The Mueller investigation was used by corrupt interests within the special counsel’s office to threaten any/all executive branch and congressional officials with “obstruction of justice” charges if they revealed any exculpatory or counter-narrative information during the Mueller probe.

Whitaker describes this as the “obstruction of justice trap.”

Quote:Essentially, this approach confirms the second-prong purpose of the Mueller investigation itself. First, use the special counsel in 2017, 2018 and into the beginning of 2019, as a shield (hide information); and secondly a weapon (threats) against any entity who would reveal the background intelligence that undercut the Trump-Russia collusion narrative.

We know President Trump was threatened by Rod Rosenstein not to declassify any information in September of 2018 or the Mueller investigation would use that act as evidence of obstruction. Whitaker confirms that same approach was applied toward any executive branch officer who would reveal or release information to congress during the tenure of the special counsel; even within the DOJ and including the attorney general.

If we ever wondered, seems we have an answer now as to whether Rod Rosenstein was a white hat or black hat. He was making sure no information was released that could reveal this massive take down plot. Guess he was a black hat. This is how they used the Mueller probe to mislead and control the narrative for the public.

Quote:While the Mueller team continued the same corrupt process started in 2016; and essentially transferred the same objectives as the DOJ/FBI team under Crossfire Hurricane; that same investigative unit was used to keep information from surfacing in ’17, ’18 and ’19 that would expose the corrupt nature of the investigation itself.

Documents could not be released without Mueller approval; interviews with key FBI/DOJ officials could not be conducted without Mueller team approval; information could not be declassified without Mueller team approval, etc.

Who was the Mueller team? Here's a reminder in case you forgot:

Quote:Any agency or individual that attempted to release any information was subject to the threat of indictment by the same corrupt prosecutors leading the investigation. It’s a self-fulfilling safety mechanism.  Even DOJ officials like Matt Whitaker were under threat. Whitaker calls it the “Obstruction of Justice Trap”.

The Obummer-placed prosecutors and his other puppets learned well from their commie leaders, didn't they?
This is anything BUT how justice is supposed to be handled in the United States.

Quote:With that in mind this is a very serious flaw in the authority of the special counsel statute that needs to be addressed by congress. Who can watch the watchers, when the watchers were specifically selected because they would knowingly contribute to the corruption.

Very disturbing (timestamps for interview):
♦03:43 On Judge Sullivan choosing not to dismiss the case against Gen. Flynn
♦06:54 On FBI director Christopher Wray calling for an internal investigation
♦08:41 What kind of accountability will we see for 2016 election surveillance?
♦15:27 The problem with the regulation creating Special Counsels
♦19:32 Obstruction of justice trap?
♦35:38 Communist China’s a greater threat than Russia

More transcripts are supposed to be coming out soon. I can't wait for the left to realize how they have been lied to and used by the media to further the plan to destroy America by taking out the one person (Trump) who was put here to get us back to the country we used to be.
Hopefully, most will have enough sense to see what happened and leave the corrupt democrat party for good.
