Quote:The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove.
Trump's highest level of approval since shortly after his inauguration.
The latest figures include 39% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 39% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of 0.

The Democrat's and All Liberal/Progressive Socialist are pulling their hair out of their heads and Denying this Report.
I'm sure they'll explain that only Deplorables in the Ply Over States were Polled and that their was a mistake because we are all Un-intelligent/ Illiterate Hillbillies. Not the Elites of Hollywood and California and New York Socialist who all know what Americans want and need.

Wonder if the size of the Dems joining in the Anti-Trump rally will be as big as the one for Pres. Trump tonight?   tinylaughing

I'll be tuning in to El-Paso for this.   minusculebiggrin    I love his rallies.   smallgreenbananadancer
This is the problem with snowflake mentality, the over-use of words to enforce the victim narrative.
If I bang my thumb with a hammer during some work and I curse at myself, how do I show my outrage...?
Do I go on Twitter and blame the hammer manufacturer or do I explain that I am useless and need to
focus more?

I was set upon by five young men a few years ago and... no, let me take that back, I set upon them and
after failing to only put one of them in hospital, they didn't complain and neither did I.
But physical contact did place.

Quote:Trump supporter attacks BBC cameraman at El Paso rally.

'A supporter of US President Donald Trump has attacked a BBC cameraman at a campaign rally in El Paso,
Texas. Sporting a Make America Great Again cap, the man shoved and swore at the BBC's Ron Skeans and
other news crews before being pulled away.

Mr Skeans said the "very hard shove" came from his blindside. "I didn't know what was going on."
Mr Trump saw the attack and confirmed Mr Skeans was well with a thumbs up after it happened...'

So President Trump didn't put his thumb up at the alleged assaulter, he checked to see if the cameraman
was okay and received acknowledgment that all was well.

Quote:'...The president has had a fractious relationship with the media from the very start of his time in office.
He has claimed journalists are "the enemy of the people" and slammed the "fake news" for reports he deems

Mr Skeans said the man almost knocked him and his camera over twice before he was wrestled away by a blogger...'

Almost knocked over in a hectic over-excited rally. Not every mass-gathering is a Royal Albert Hall cello concert.

Quote:'...President Trump checked they were well with a thumbs up, and continued his speech after Mr Skeans returned the
gesture. BBC Washington producer Eleanor Montague and Washington correspondent Gary O'Donoghue were sitting
in front of the camera.

Ms Montague said the protester had attacked other news crews but Mr Skeans "got the brunt of it".
A campaign official for Mr Trump afterwards suggested the attacker was drunk...'

The assumed protester got the brunt of it...?! What exactly, the brunt of an act of violence...? A rousing Twitter
review? A yell of outrage? But It doesn't matter, he wasn't one of the special media people and anyway, he wore
a MAGA hat.

The guy allegedly 'attacks' and then the lazy comment that the same person got the brunt of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, today's best crop of Journalists.

Quote:'The president went to El Paso, on the US border with Mexico, to campaign for a border wall, a divisive issue which
caused the longest government shutdown in US history. Ms Montague said the president had spoken of "fake news"
and how the media misrepresented him in the run up to the assault...'

Can you blame him?!!! This BBC cameraman was almost shoved twice, probably verbally abused and then
on a platform that reaches all parts of the world, snowflakes out about how terrible it was.
God forbid he ever has to report in a war-zone... or worse yet, the streets of London!

Quote:'Speaking to BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Mr O'Donoghue said it was "an incredibly violent attack".
"This is a constant feature of these rallies - a goading of the crowds against the media," Mr O'Donoghue said, who
added that he had been "spat at before".

Last August UN experts warned Mr Trump's attacks "increase the risk of journalists being targeted with violence",
calling his rhetoric "strategic". New York Times publisher AG Sulzberger has urged the president to stop his media

Almost shoved and this broad calls it 'an incredibly violent attack'... the expression 'Fake News' comes to mind.
We'll take it that Eleanor Montague rang into the London-based BBC Radio 4 with her story as she's supposed to be
in El Paso.

Quote:'CNN meanwhile filmed supporters of Mr Trump yelling abuse and swearing at reporters covering a rally in Florida
last year. Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci condemned Trump's supporters at
the Florida rally on Twitter, saying the behaviour was "not who we are"...'

Oh bless their cotton-socks.

Of course not son... they're Journalists. They only write what they
wanna write.

Duh!!! That was a SCAM Invented by The DNC and Hillary!

Quote:"We were never going find a contract signed in blood saying, 'Hey Vlad, we're going to collude,'" one Democratic aide said.

No Kidding, Stupid! There never was any Collusion.

I noticed in the article that many Dems are under the impression that something is out there to be discovered and if They Keep The Investigation Open, They'll Find It!

But of-course they'll never admit to the Open Corruption of the Clintons and Especially Hillary.

Replying to @BIAD

I'm not sure if the person doing the "violent attack" was a Trump supporter.
I saw on Twitter the day before the rally that the democrats were going to do certain things to disrupt it.  It could be they planted one of their own people in close to the camera people, put a MAGA cap on his head, and then the "Trump supporter" gets the blame for violence, making President Trump look bad.

There was something else going on up in the stands behind President Trump a couple of different times, but I couldn't see from the angle of the camera what it was.

I haven't seen the full video, but just as CNN's Costa tried to portray himself, if there's an opportunity
to use the victim card, they will.

Their truth has nothing to do with reality... CNN's credo!

Also, since many of the media speak of a Trump rally being like a Klan meeting,
the guy who was shouting (and possibly pushing) isn't exactly KKK material!

Quote:Woman accused of assaulting man in MAGA hat facing deportation

A woman on Cape Cod has been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after
assaulting a man wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat.

Rosiane Santos, 41, of Falmouth was charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery after
a confrontation at a Mexican restaurant last Friday.  Santos told police she was upset the man was
wearing the hat in a Mexican restaurant.

According to ICE, Santos' arrest revealed her status as an illegal immigrant from Brazil who overstayed
a 1994 tourist visa.

The man wearing the hat, 23-year-old Bryton Turner of Mashpee, told Boston 25 News he pulled out his
phone and started recording her after she confronted him at Casa Vallarta.  "I don’t think ICE or anything
would’ve been involved if it wasn’t for the video," said Emmanuel Santos, Rosiane's husband.

Turner says he was minding his own business when Santos started yelling at him because of his hat,
which bears the theme that President Donald Trump campaigned on.
When asked if Turner did anything to provoke Santos, bartender Geo Macarao said, "No, no he just
walked in and ordered his food."

When police showed up to the restaurant, the woman told them the man shouldn't be allowed to eat in a
Mexican restaurant. President Donald Trump is aiming to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
"You wore that hat going to a Mexican restaurant, I think you were trying to provoke some people," said
Emmanuel Santos, who alleges Turner instigated the confrontation before the recording.

"If he shot that video himself, I don’t think he would shoot it when he was saying the things he was saying.
"Being a foreigner you go through a lot. She’s been through a lot in her life; she felt she had to stand up
for herself and for other people."

As Falmouth police officers were escorting Santos out of the restaurant, Macarao said she took another
swipe at Turner. Emmanuel Santos was not there when his wife was arrested, but he insists she was
antagonized before losing her cool.

ICE officials said Tuesday they had taken Rosiane Santos into custody. She has since been released,
but uncertainty now surrounds her future here in the U.S.

"Earlier today, deportation officers with ICE’s Fugitive Operations Team arrested
Rosiane Santos, an unlawfully present citizen of Brazil, today near Falmouth, Massachusetts.
Santos is currently facing local charges for assault and other offenses.
She has since been released from ICE custody after being entered into removal proceedings
in the federal immigration courts and provided a Notice to Appear at a future date before an
immigration judge."

Santos, a Brazilian immigrant, said while she regrets her actions, she claims she was provoked.
"You just follow the process and hopefully everything goes the way it’s suppose to go," Emmanuel Santos said.
"All her family -mom, dad -are American citizens now -sister, brother -and it’s just unfortunate for her."

Emmanuel said that his wife has two teenage kids from a previous marriage and does missionary work for a
local church on Cape Cod. In a statement sent to Boston 25 News, the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee
Advocacy Coalition (MIRA) said:

"It's unfortunate that ICE has taken Ms. Santos into custody before her case is adjudicated in
the courts. ICE interference disrupts our justice system and denies both sides the resolution
they deserve.
As you can see in ICE's own report, ICE arrests of people in Ms. Santos' situation increased
fivefold in the first two years of the Trump administration.
That's a disturbing trend and bad news for our justice system."

Turner, the alleged victim, gave a statement to Boston 25 as well.
"I was surprised to see the news," he wrote of Santos' detainment. "I give people the benefit of the doubt
most times and never would have dubbed her illegal. Unfortunately for her this country has laws in place
to protect its citizens and they have to be obeyed.
That’s what makes this country great."...'

Lynne Patton                                                                                              Rashida Tlaib

'Housing and Urban Development (HUD) official Lynne Patton rejected suggestions from a Democratic
congresswoman that she was used as “a prop” by Republicans during Wednesday’s House Oversight
Committee hearing with Michael Cohen.

Patton said she was there to support President Donald Trump and to “pushback against a racist narrative,”
she told “Fox & Friends” Thursday.

“I was not there to represent an entire race of people. I was there to represent one man [Donald Trump],
one man who never minds having the lowest unemployment rate for blacks, minorities, Hispanics, women
and who also gave $32 million more than the last administration to historically blacks colleges and universities,”
she said.

During Cohen’s testimony, Patton was standing behind Republican North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows.
Her presence there provoked Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib to suggest first that Meadows, chair of the
House Freedom Caucus, was a racist and that the congressman was merely using Patton as “a prop.”

Patton found that accusation revolting and she wondered why “the congresswoman from Michigan would take the word
of a self-confessed perjurer and criminally convicted white male over a black female … that’s more racist.”
Tlaib, who was first elected to the House in last November’s midterm elections, gained notoriety quickly for promising
to “impeach the motherf****r” Trump.

Patton, a successful businesswoman, emphasized that the president is not a racist.
“The president does not see color, race, creed, religion; what he sees is success or failure,” she told Fox.
Patton also accused Cohen, former lawyer to Trump, of falsely claiming during his testimony before Congress that
he never sought employment with the Trump administration.

“He told me personally,” she said, “that he wanted to work at the White House.”...'

Anyone remember the days when politicians set-up the front-end of their public persona as professional
and kept their corruptness and failings hidden deep in the shadows?

Maintaining a vote-drawing narrative, they carried themselves with an air of confidence and without emotional
collapse, they fought their corners with a calm, qualified poise. Courting the public didn't involve self-involved
sob-stories and showing their 'human side' was a part of a campaign that everyone knew was intentional.
Old-school stuff.

How times change.

Quote:Nancy Pelosi gambles on 'not worth it' impeachment call.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is taking impeachment off the table for Democrats -at least unless something dramatically changes.
"Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there's something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don't think
we should go down that path, because it divides the country. And he's just not worth it,” she told the Washington Post.

This might be the best political decision for Democrats heading into 2020.

It changes the conversation away from impeachment, gives at-risk Dems a shield when asked the I-word question, and places the
burden on Republicans (if Trump’s getting impeached, it will take GOP votes to do it).
But is it the right decision for history, especially if you believe the president of the United States has committed crimes before we
even get to the Mueller report?

And are Democrats convinced they have the upper hand against Trump in 2020? Or is the race more like a 50-50 contest?
Maybe Pelosi’s answer on impeachment was just to buy her party additional time before the Mueller report.
But if so, she oversold that. “I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country” sounds pretty definitive.

And don’t be surprised if Trump tries to use those words to his advantage when the going gets tough for him on the Mueller/legal front...'
